This is a great swim cover. I got a lot of complements on it. The fabric is thick without being hot. It has great structure. You can go from beachside to beach restaurant beautifully in this.

Perfection!
I was smack between the 10 and the 12. I went with the 12 and spent a little bit of the night hoisting it up, which was frustrating. That said the dress is well made and hangs beautifully. The stays in the bodice were a little pokey, but not tragic. Perfect for a NY Eve black tie wedding.

Warm and cozy
I sized down based on reviews and the body of the jacket was great. Unf., between my long arms and these too-short sleeves, the sleeves are awkwardly short to the point of not really functional. It’s also a little bit of a weird fabric - a little stiff and synthetic feeling on the exterior. Probably won’t rent again. Will hunt for a better fit/fabric.

This is a great take on the denim dress! Unf., I sized up (I think that’s all that was available) and it fit at first but as denim does…it grew all night and I was swimming in it by the end of the evening. Still love it though! Will just size right next time.

Stuck zipper!
Unfortunately the zipper wouldn’t go above the seam at the empire waist of this dress. I have had them stick before but this wouldn’t budge. And it wasn’t sizing - it was a technical difficulty. Total bummer because I was planning to wear it to a formal holiday party!

Great, crisp, tailored denim dress.
I wore this for Thanksgiving and again for work. I paired it with knee high, camel colored boots. It’s a very well-made dress that looks almost formal despite the denim. Word of caution - I am long torsoed so the waist hit a little high on me. Just 1/2” lower and I wouldn’t have mentioned it. Also. It had pockets, which are great, but with the weight of the dress and the pleats, the pockets pulled a little (you can see it in the pic). I had to make sure they were pushed in and sleek. The pleats are what make this dress really pretty, but you need to make sure and give them a good press in between wearings so they stay that way.

This runs small so I sized up based on other reviews. The concern is the slit, really. I feel like I mitigated that by wearing an opaque tight underneath. This skirt is comfortable, warm, professional and polished. I don't necessarily feel pressed to own it, but enjoyed the rental.

I rented this for a trip to the islands. My poor husband broke a sweat zipping me into it, but I wouldn't have wanted a larger size. The colors and shape are great. I'm long-torsoed so the waist did hit a tad weird, but I still liked it. Would rent again.

I rented this in black for another event in 2024. I snagged this for a last minute trip to the islands. It was perfect for a dinner out with flat sandals. Could also be dressed up beautifully with heels. Love this dress - it's forgiving in the midsection, tailored and classy.

This is a great jacket that fit snug, but that's how you want it. The cool part is that the arms completely unzip, if you want. I wore it with jeans and also over a formal dress to a wedding. It's versatile and very tailored.

Nice way to do denim different.
This is a really cute dress. I got a ton of compliments on it. It's a snug fit for sure, but I wouldn't have wanted it any bigger. I also didn't have to wear a bra because it held me so snugly in the chest - which was great. I wore it with knee-high boots. I understand the complaint about the shoulders, but sometimes it's worth the price to pay for fashion!

This fit true to size. I will say it felt just a hair short for me at 5' 8". I wore it once with sneakers and another time with booties. It has a crisp, clean cut to it and is comfortable.

Fun, but not too comfy!
I wore this to a cocktail party. It is very cute and something different in a sea of black. The flower gives it a great edge and the velvet has stretch and give. That said, the bodice has metal stays in it which are intended to keep you held in nice and tight, which it does. However, those metal stays were coming through the fabric of the dress at the waist and stabbing me all night. It made wearing the dress really uncomfortable and a nuisance, unfortunately. I would def rent again if this problem was fixed.

Do not pass go. Do not collect $200. RENT THIS DRESS! It gives in all the right places. It holds in all the right places. As said before by many - it is a deep red in a sea of often basic black dresses for formal events. This will be a go-to for me. I had killer red-bottoms on with it initially that went much better - but they were killing me as I had to be on my feet most of the night so I put the chunky, fun (read: comfortable) heel on, so the photos have that shoe versus the better shoe. I felt like a $1M because the dress made me feel like it. My husband was blown away. Don’t wear it big - you don’t need to. Wear it right.

I actually had this dress sent to me when at the last second the dress I had picked for MY STEPSONS WEDDING was damaged and RTR couldn’t send it - gah!!!!! But guess what - this dress was better! The color is so rich and the dress hangs beautifully. It’s a forgiving fit and once you get the hang of the bow on the shoulder it really is classy. I will most definitely rent again.

Miami perfection!
I got this for late night clubbing in Miami for a friend's daughter’s bachelorette weekend. It was a little big but I just wasn't confident in getting the med v. the large. SIZE DOWN! Like everyone else said- the top was a bit stretched out and loose but with some double-sided tape I made it work. Again - what I love about RTR - getting things I would never be confident enough in to buy but renting them and forcing myself to step outside of the box! Don't hesitate on this one for Vegas or Miami or NY - it's perfection!
