I rented this with Unlimited thinking it could be good for a big day at the office, but it was a little too dramatic. The color is bold, and the dress is really fitted. Idk if it was because of the buttons that run along the collar bone or what, but the dress really accentuated an hour glass shape. I'm a consistent size 2 and it fit really well, but id recommend sizing up as a backup because it is really fitted. This would probably be great for a cocktail party or nice dinner!

Love this dress - it's perfect for work! However, the 2 JUST fits on top. I have a small bust and broad shoulders, but I would say this runs smaller than most Kate Spade size 2 dresses. I absolutely loved this dress. It was gorgeous and fit like a glove. For me, it was a little too racy to wear out, though. I couldn't wear a bra with it, and it was really low. Those slits, while gorgeous, are HIGH. To sit down, I felt like some the slit came up to my hip. That said, if you've got an event to go to that can handle hot, couldn't recommend this enough!!

This dress is absolutely lovely! The lace is really feminine and delicate. The bottom of the dress has a couple of layers of tulle that balance it out to create a straight line / almost like a drop waist. The top is fitted and requires a strapless or bandeau style bra to not interfere with the dress lines. I'm typically a size 2, and the 2 fits really well. For ladies more blessed on top, suggest sizing up as a backup because it is pretty fitted. Could be great for work, brunch, bridal shower, or a date! Highly recommend :)

I got this dress through unlimited, and do not plan on giving it back any time soon :) the material is thick and structured, but still light enough for summer. The detail is so feminine and delicate - perfect for a date or just to feel girly. The size 2 fits well, and I suggest ordering up for a backup size. One word of caution...the material crosses over in the front, but it's not sewed shut. I could imagine for taller ladies this could be an issue when sitting. Overall, cool piece. The colors are beautiful, and the ruffled sleeves add a flare. I was expecting it to fit more loosely, but this was really fitted. The waist is tailored, and it's lined, so I'm guessing it's meant to be fitted (vs. too small on me). It was also much shorter than expected. I'm 5'6 and it barely came mid-thigh. I ordered the small and am normally a size 2 (sometimes 4). I rented this for my husbands law school graduation and didn't wear it because I thought it was too fitted and short for the occasion. It would be cute for a girls lunch or something less formal, though!

I had been dying to wear this dress, and it did not disappoint. The color is absolutely stunning, though definitely not for the timid. The material is as the other reviewer described - definitely thinner than I expected. It's almost like a silk, pretty slinky and very fitted. I wore a regular bra, and control top pantry hose. At least for me, it was slinky enough that the Spanx showed, but the panty hose worked great. At 5'6, the length worked well for me with 2.5" heels, and the high slit in the back made it easy to walk in. Overall, really recommend this dress, particularly for warm weather formals!

I beyond loved this dress! The material is thick, creating a structured look, and I agree with the other reviews that it is not forgiving. I had to squeeze it over my hips, but when it was on, the 4 fit perfectly. Despite its beauty, it was a little difficult to walk in, again because the material has 0 stretch. At a couple of points during the day, I was walking quickly to a meeting and felt my stride confined by the fabric. All worth it though to be able to wear the dress! The dress is as beautiful as pictured. The material is beautiful, the pleats are very well constructed and the color is a deep midnight navy. Unfortunately, I had to return this dress because it didn't fit me quite right. The size 2 fit OK on top (though it's pretty boxy), but it was a little snug through the hips, which caused the top of the pleats to pull. The waist looked really big compared to the snug fit through the hips, so I just didn't think it was quite right. I ordered the 2 because the dress looked a little loose, but if I had gone with the 4 (so it would fit on the bottom) I think the top would have been too big. I am definitely a "pear" shape, though, so if you're a pretty similar top/bottom size, I would totally recommend this dress. I was really disappointed to have to return it!

This dress is beyond unique -- totally understated but when you look at all the details it really pops. I'm definitely going to get this dress again through unlimited, but will definitely size down when I do. The dress is cut really big, which isn't a huge deal given the silhouette, but it gapped a little under my arms. Because I really wanted to wear the dress anyway, I belted it and gathered the extra material in the back. Obsessed with this dress! One of my favorite things I've rented in a long time. The color and texture is amazing -- a really deep midnight navy that has a textured pattern to it. It's really soft and comfortable. The length was great for me. I'm 5'6 so this was very party appropriate. I originally intended to wear it to the office with tights but opted not to because when I sat it still came up to my mid thigh. I was a little wary of the ruffle at the bottom because in pear shaped -- I thought it would draw too much attention -- but the dress is cut really well so it more balanced me out.
