This dress is gorgeous but I couldn't get it to zip up. I am 20 weeks pregnant and a 6 in non-maternity. In hindsight, I should have ordered an 8 given my growing bust. RTR has excellent customer service, however, and overnighted me another option (which also didn't work, but they tried!)

I rented both the 4L and 6L for a gala event. The 4 fit better in the chest and shoulders, but I needed the 6 for a better fit around the hips. The dress was very comfortable all night. I wore a subra with the size 6 to fill out the looser fitting top, and it fit almost perfectly after that.

This fits true to size (i'm 5'8" 130 lbs and wore a size 4), however, it is extremely difficult to put on as the zipper doesn't go down far enough below the waist and there is no slit in the skirt. Add to that the non-stretch fabric and you might need assistance getting this on. I opted to step into it, and with the assistance of someone else managed to get it up over my butt. After getting the dress on, however, it fit perfectly everywhere and is extremely flattering. Got lots of complements. If I owned this dress I would get the zipper extended and maybe add a slit--you have to take very small steps because the fabric has zero stretch. It is a beautiful dress, however!

Fits true to size; I wanted sparkle for New Year's Eve, so wore this with a blazer thrown over it for warmth. Lots of compliments at the party, and everyone was fascinated with the RTR concept! I was worried it'd be too short on me but it was fine.

The XS was REALLY tight on me, so I went with the S, even though I was 100% happy with the fit under the arms (it was big there so had a "web" effect, but hardly noticeable). Overall I was very happy with this dress. It's form-fitting but comfortable and covered. Perfect for a winter wedding.

I didn't end up wearing this because I didn't have the appropriate undergarments; nubra is definitely needed. I had a backless strapless tape-on bra whose lines showed through the material. I decided not to wear it b/c I didn't want to be inappropriate at a wedding! It is a lovely dress though. I'm 5'8" and it hit at the bottom of the knee. Wish I had listened to the other reviewers!

This dress is more suited to fall weather with its tweed and leather fabric. It fit like a glove and has a cool, 60s vibe. It gapped a little in the bust near the shoulders but fit perfectly everywhere else.

This dress is darling---the silver metallic lace is perfect for any bridal occasion. I wore it to an evening shower. I ordered a 2 and a 4 and the 2 fit better in the bust and torso. The skirt is very flouncy so beware if you don't like a fuller skirt. The only complaint is that it was a bit high waisted on me. It would probably look better on a much shorter person. It hit me at a weird not-quite-empire waist, which isn't great with a full skirt.

this is a great dress if you have a smaller bust/torso and have trouble getting the bottom half of more fitted dresses to fit right. the full skirt is forgiving yet flattering. like other reviewers said, the dress is a very heavy material, though I wasn't too hot in it wearing it in July. It's more of a day time dress

I received this in a "mystery bling" order. It is an interesting design but unfortunately too big for a small wrist. The heft of the knotted side of the bracelet made it twist around and fall to the inner side of the wrist all night.

I'm 5'7" and this dress hit me slightly lower than shown on the model, but definitely still above the knee. Colors are less saturated too, but still lovely (see picture). It is a darling dress--very unique but flattering. The top fit just fine sans bra but may be a problem for bustier girls.
