Like other reviewers have commented this dress is wonderful for hiding flaws (but not so wonderful that you won't need Spanx or something similar). It is a showstopper for curvy ladies who want to make a statement but you need to have great posture and be prepared to stand most of the night. Once you sit the design actually calls attention to problem areas due to the natural bunching that happens to dresses when ladies sit. Between the time that I ordered my RTR and it arrived I had a medical emergency that meant I was going to have to attend this event in a wheelchair. Due to that constraint and the unique design of the dress I could not wear it. But it is lovely and if I make a full recovery I may rent it again.

This dress has amazing details that look great in various lights. It was wonderful for the party we hosted the night before New Years and I got many compliments, especially from my boyfriend. He really loved the dress and raved about it from the moment it arrived until we sent it back.
