No really, size down.
I’m usually a M, but after reading the reviews I opted for a size S, and even that was too large. The back is super baggy, and the hanger strings will slip out all night. Get this 2 sizes smaller than you normally would if you want it to fit.

Know your size! Don't size up!
I saw a lot of reviews that said to size up because the band is super tight around the torso area, and one review that said not to because they did and the dress was super loose. If you get your right size the band shouldn't be tight at all and I'm very glad I didn't size up! It fit me perfectly and I would've been swimming in it. Lots of fashion tape is necessary though.
