This dress was absolutely stunning. The color is like a coral/cajun shrimp color. It's gorgeous. Can wear for spring, summer, or fall and the color would be fine. The lace detail was wonderful. I did tape/hem up the under-slip part of the bottom of the dress because I wanted to have the lace show through on my leg, instead of against the slip, for a better contrast of lace on skin effect. It's a very nice dress for a formal wedding as there is a bit of cleavage but it's tastefully hidden under the lace. I absolutely enjoyed wearing this dress, very comfortable for an outdoor wedding and lightweight material. Gives just enough that standing/sitting a bunch was easy. Felt like star, wonderful dress!

Sorry the picture is so bad, but the color really is a soft baby pink. It isn't as light as the color on the model. I was worried about it being too light for a wedding and clashing with the bride, but it's definitely pink. It's a perfectly soft light blush pink. The cut is very flattering, and the cap sleeves are very comfortable. The fabric is very soft and slightly giving. I wore spanx just to help keep everything together. The dress was so nice, highly recommend. Don't really need accessories besides earrings and maybe a bracelet.

This dress will make you feel like a Greek goddess. The way the dress is cut will make you look taller and leaner. Beautiful color, it's like a nice wine/burgundy/purple color. The material is very flowy and hides "flaws" to keep you looking smooth in any problem areas (I did wear spanx and that helped too). Absolutely stunning and looooved the lace trim. The slit does go up pretty high but if you're just standing, the fabric overlaps itself so you're not actively showing any thigh. I only had an issue when I sat down, but I knew to grab it and tuck it so it wouldn't show. Even then, it was still tasteful. Loved renting this dress. Only complaint was that RTR sent the wrong belt size, TWICE! Make sure you have a backup belt to wear for this one just in case. It has the belt loops so you can get away with a belt that isn't velvet. The belt was so cute too, I was very bummed I didn't get to wear it. Very fun and easy to dance in. The one shoulder was very nice and could wear a strapless bra but using one strap on the side. Very comfortable and easy to move in, fabric is very forgiving. Great dress overall!

Online and reviews, this dress looked amazing. When it arrived, I was very impressed, that is, until I tried it on. It was very tight on top for me, and had trouble breathing as the chest area doesn't give at all. there isn't a lot of support in the chest area, so if you're bigger, it probably isn't the best fit. If you're smaller, it might be too big up top, too. Just sort of awkward fitting up top. As for the bottom, it is deceptively snug through your hips and into your thighs. I thought it would be fitted through the waist and then flare out at the hips, but it doesn't. It was sort of hard to move in and tight when you would sit down. It really is such a beautiful dress, I don't like writing negative things about it. I think it would be better fit for smaller women so that you would be more comfortable in it. So sad I couldn't wear it, still a beautiful dress. The detail was amazing and the fabric was wonderful.

I received so many compliments wearing this dress to an outdoor DC wedding. The color is a showstopper. It's such a hard color to describe since it looked different colors in different lights. So inside while getting ready, it was more of an olive green/mustard yellow. Then out in the sunshine, it was more of a goldenrod yellow/hint of green. Awesome color that you can pair with any color accessories (I went with navy accessories, and nude/gold shoes). Very comfortable, even in the 95 degree heat/humidity of DC in August. The beading and detail is amazing. The sheer section on top is very sheer, so you'll have to wear a strapless bra. I tried the see-through bra straps and you could still see them. The cap sleeves were a little annoying since you couldn't move as well, but they were still comfortable. Definitely not a dress you could wear to a reception, as there was no give in it at all. Overall, a wonderful dress for any occasion.

This dress was amazing. I'm so glad it was a replacement to another dress I ordered. I was so comfortable in the August heat in DC for an outdoor wedding. The material is very flowy and soft. The upper chest part is solid so you can wear a normal bra without worry. The cleavage is just right and isn't cut too low. The zipper was a little hard to get up past the middle section, but once you did, you were fine. Beautiful color of mint/aqua. I was a little worried wearing it to a wedding, as it was definitely not as heavy of a color as other RTR reviews had said, but it was still nice. I wore the 12L and I'm 5'7" with flats and it dragged only a little. I wore some cute Roman-looking sandals and it was great! Ps. I also like dresses to be longer so you would probably be fine with heels, too. Overall a wonderful dress and so glad I picked it as a last minute backup.

The high waist was definitely slimming, and the top color is a soft mint/seafoam green. The color was so cute when i saw it, since it looked more white in the photos online. Definitely a show-stopper dress, so wear simple jewelry, shoes, and accessories. I wore a chunky necklace and i felt it spruced up the simple top, with some simple suede shoes, and a white cardigan. Got tons of compliments throughout the day (for the ceremony, as well as the reception). I hope this dress goes on sale in the future so I can own it someday :) I ended up going with the size 12 because it was little more roomy in the bust area and I didn't feel so constricted in the chest area. The 10 was probably a better fit, but I was more comfortable in the 12 and no one even noticed any difference (audience: husband haha!). Great dress for a spring/summer wedding. Enjoy!

This dress was beyond beautiful. The sheer sleeves and top were GORGEOUS (and will be on any skin type). The bottom was so flowy that you felt like you were flying when walking. The slit was a little high for me, so I just used some tape to fix it and that worked out fine. I didn't wear a bra with it because of the built in corset and that worked out pretty well, too. Just make sure to do some adjustments on the internal straps as it was a little tricky to get into. Overall, a beautiful dress that I wish I could have kept instead of returning!! Also note, that the color is a very dark NAVY, not black, and the top is a very light tan/champagne color. I wore some nude pumps and that worked great. Had also considered gold pumps and they looked good, too. You hardly need any accessories for this dress, it's such a showstopper! Truly enjoyed!

This dress was perfect for my post-wedding brunch. It was simple, elegant, and fit like a glove. I was worried about reading some reviews about the lace being torn, but my dress looked great. It's very snug but gave a little. The zipper up the back of the dress was so awesome because it gave the dress a little fun aspect in the back, while the front was very "proper". Beautiful fabric, so soft but thicker than you'd think, but didn't give me any issues. And it's also a slightly off white but nothing too dark. Really was a beautiful dress, and a great price!

The silk on the inside was very soft and kept me warm for all the outdoor photos we took before the wedding (in Feb!). The feathers on the outside would sometimes fly out but it was maybe one or two that flew out all day, nothing to worry about (there weren't any bare patches or anything crazy). Overall a beautiful shawl and kept me warm when I needed it so badly!

Pretty much fell in love with this dress. Not only did it compliment my body shape, but it moved SO WELL when I walked. I got SO many compliments wearing this, my feet hurt from stopping to talk to random people at the wedding! Seriously, this dress was amazing. The sheer layer was beautiful, and the bottom layer was so silky and wonderful. The color ABSOLUTELY POPS! Don't be afraid of the color, it really works well. Also, there's a little opening by your neck that doesn't show on the model, but it's perfect. Isn't too deep, and is just right so you can wear any bra. Just make sure to pack static cling spray or laundry sheets, because sometimes the material got a little staticy (but I think that was because we were in a dry area in winter). Otherwise, this dress is perfect and you'll hate to have to give it back.

I fell in love with this dress online, and thankfully they ran out of my backup size so I got to pick another dress (LOVE RTR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!). However, this was my top pick for the wedding I was attending. When it came in, it didn't have the belt shown in the picture. After putting it on, I immediately had to take it off. The clevage was WAY too low (I'm a D cup and even if I would have taped it, my bra was still showing in the front). Then the slit came up WAY too high when I walked. The dress had a little string thing to hold the two flaps together and it wasn't hidden well at all so you could see it right up front. I loved the fabric, just disappointing that it was so revealing. It might be better on smaller chested women, just make sure to have lots of double sided tape!

The top part was very snug, and didn't stretch at all. I got two sizes: M and L. The M fit in the waist but was too tight in the top and it made it hard to breathe (but the legth was just right). The L fit better in the top, but was a little baggy in the waist. I'm a D cup but that wasn't the issue, it's snug in the rib cage area. Wished it had a little more stretch, but then I think it would compromise the sturdy form look. Still a beautiful dress and loved the L size. Was a little long and people couldn't see my shoes, but still a great dress to wear. The color is neat too, it changes depending on the light. When I first opened the bag, it looked very dark, then I stood in the sunshine and it was so beautiful! Looked great in all the pics we took.
