The dress is really dark blue with a black overlay and the flowers are rose gold. It's much shorter in the front than I expected, above the knee. I wasn't sure about it at first, but it makes the skirt very dramatic. The bust is pretty fitted, I am small chested and wore the 4 without a bra. If you have a bigger chest, you might need the 6 for the extra room. The only drawback is the skirt is kind of itchy on the inside and there is no lining. I got over it by the end of the car ride to the event. Overall, it was a great dress!

Fits true to size and is very fitted in the ribs. I agree the straps are too long (seems like RTR should take them in a bit given everyone says the same thing!). More silver tones, but has streaks of gold that run throughout. I wore gold shoes and thought they matched great. Full skirt and pockets are a game changer!

The dress is beautiful, hangs great and is flattering. As mentioned in the other reviews, the band around the middle is tight. I wore the size 4, and the 6 might have been more comfortable but I'm afraid would have been too baggy in the bust. Great dress if you have a small rib cage!

This is a great dress. Something about the way it gathers in the front creates an optical allusion- I got asked all night if I had lost weight! The material is super comfy and thick enough that the coverage is good. The coverage up front is a little revealing, but I added a safety pin to bring up the V and some fashion tape just to be safe. This was definitely a winner and the color is great too- a nice cabernet color.

This dress was close to perfect. I usually wear between a 2 and 4, but had to get the 4 as that was all they had available. I was worried because I'm small in the bust, but this dress fit well and a padded strapless bra made it work. I think the 2 might have been too tight under the arms anyways. I got compliments all night and felt great. The dress is a nice, elegant heavy material and looks very high quality. I am 5' 8", so I ordered the 4L. With 4 inch heels it still hung on the ground a little bit, so the long is definitely long!

I wear a 2/4, so ordered both of those sizes. The 4 was so tight I couldn't get it zipped around my ribcage, which is the smallest part of me. The lining underneath was already ripped because its so tight that whoever had it before me had tried to wrestle in on with no success. Disappointing because the color and material are very pretty. Of course the RTW people were great and I got my money back since I couldn't wear it.
