The dress zipped up, it just wasn’t flattering so I didn’t wear it. The boning was also poking through the fabric, so I don’t think I would’ve for a night out anyways if it had fit my midsection better.

I ordered the dress as it was one of the few formal options listed as petite. Since it was only available in a 16 petite, it likely would fit true to size if my true size were available (14P).

Skip it as a petite
I sized up two sizes in this dress because it wasn’t available in a smaller size so part of it is my fault that the dress didn’t fit. It’s also not a true petite as you can see the chest/shoulder length is too large for a person of smaller stature. In talking to customer service, I found out that dresses labeled as petite on the site were typically just hemmed by seamstresses in house (not true petite with all measurements being adjusted). The fabric is thick and feels like good quality, or just wasn’t a way for me to wear this.

Wish the straps were adjustable
I’m 5’0”, this is the only dress that worked for me in an order of 6. It was comfortable but I wish the straps were adjustable as I kept on having to pull the dress up all night.
