Great for photos and dancing, really prickly when sitting
Yes this dress looks amazing in photos, and yes I got compliments all night, but my advice would be: avoid renting if your night involves sitting down! The skin on my legs was almost bleeding by the end of the night from sitting down in this dress. The sheer mesh at the bottom of the dress is very firm and almost plastic, which means that a million little plastic threads (read: knives) stick out everywhere that the sheer plastic mesh is sewn to the black dress fabric, and these threads are aimed directly at your legs! I still can't believe just how raw and painful my legs looked and felt at the end of the party after getting pricked so often by the threads in this seam. Pretty much the only time these plastic threads weren't poking me was when I was standing still. Otherwise, when sitting, walking and even dancing, my legs would inevitably get pricked by the seam. Ow!

Perfect for a summer semi-formal wedding
This dress is so much fun, and it has pockets! Looked stunning in the photos, which is always a plus. I felt that the top ran a bit too small, so I had to size up from the 2 (my regular) to the 4. The 4 didn't fit as snugly as the 2 so I was a little concerned about the dress falling down while dancing, but thankfully that didn't happen!

The dress fit like a glove. It hugged in all the right places and smoothed everywhere else. I'm 5'5 and wore 4" heels, and the regular length was just perfect.

I felt incredible in this dress. All night, strangers complimented me on the fit, the style, and how I looked in the dress. The dress runs a bit large. I typically wear a size 4 but I opted for the size 2 so that I wouldn't have extra fabric folds on my hips in the photos. However, the bust ended up being a little too small on the smaller size (as others had warned). When I had my arms at my side, I would flop a bit over the dress in the front. The fix that worked for me was to stand up extra-straight and make sure to have my hands on my hips while posing for photos.
