Although this dress is a great color and expensive material, it is not made well. I got a Small and and Extra Small size. The moment I tried it on, the dress felt very insecure on top, like it would fall down all night so I wanted to wear the XS that fit as well; however, the XS was so old and worn that I couldn't wear it. I was stuck with the Small size which fit fine, but the moment you moved the very thick hanger straps kept popping out because they're sewn in at a weird angle and the dress itself kept falling down all night. I literally couldn't move an inch without it falling down. I am not sure if it would behave differently with a smaller bust size, but although, as everyone has said, it was a beautiful dress, I felt VERY uncomfortable the entire night and it didn't allow me to dance or to move around and all my pictures show either too much cleavage or a hanger strap showing. I wouldn't recommend this dress to anyone, unless you plan on not moving the entire night. It's also very long. I wore 6-inch heels and it fit perfect, but if you're not a 6-inch heel kind of gal, I again I wouldn't recommend this dress.

The material is a thick and scuba-like so it doesn't wrinkle if you have to travel with it and is very slimming. My body measurements are 34-27-38 and the small top and skirt fit me well. If you always have a problem, like I do, with pants or skirts being too small around the hips but having a gap between your waste and the piece of clothing then go for the smaller size skirt. You might have to pull your skirt down a few times during the night, but at least the waste of the smaller skirt will fit. I am 5'5" so the skirt hit right at the bottom of my knee cap which was great since the outfit is otherwise revealing, but make sure to plan to wear very high heels if you're as short as I am, that helps with lengthening the legs. The shirt was definitely very tight, even a bit difficult to put on, but once on, it was super comfortable and looked great. I didn't try a Medium for the top, perhaps that would have fit better. You can see the contours of my bra a little bit, but it wasn't a big deal.
