The fabric is only slightly stretchy and fairly thick. If you are self conscience about showing your assets and are a C +, this is not your dress. I felt comfortable in the dress and it forced me to keep my shoulders back, otherwise it gaped in the front. I did use a little fashion tape to help with occasional "slouch". The petite was perfect for this 5'1"" girl.

Form fitting that highlights a woman's best assets. This was my back up. You cannot wear a bras with this dress unless you are smaller than a D cup, I think. The length was perfect with 2 1/2" heels. I really want to wear this for something. I did not notice this tidbit until I showed a friend. The darts on the front of the dress are extremely noticeable if you are busty. Very revealing.

The dress is very flattering. I wore 4" heals since the petite was not available and that was ok. If you look at the model, the dress was pooling on the floor. I will rent this one, again, in a heartbeat. I wore a regular bra but used a fastener to keep the straps from showing.
