I am usually a 10/12 and am 5’7”, so ordered the medium based on reviews and it still swallowed me. I tried to belt it but it looked silly. I think the medium fits more like a size 16

I absolutely loved this dress. If you're busty, shy and/or conservative, this dress is not for you. I wore it to masquerade ball and got lots of compliments and attention. I will agree with other reviews that the zipper is tricky around the waistband and at 5'7", the regular length was shorter than I wanted (stopping at my ankles); however, because everything about the dress was awesome I pulled out my gold loubs and owned it :-). I really wish the long version of the dress was available. Oh, learn from me and pick up your fashion tape before the dress arrives so that you're not running all over town trying to find tape to prevent an "incident" :-)

I loved the dress online because I thought it was simple but sexy dress; however, in person it did not live up to my expectations. The split was basically invisible, it is looks like a very basic gown. It would work for a work or family event, where being conservative the look you're going for; however, I was going to a party with friends and this dress did not make the cut. Perhaps if the bottom fit a bit more closely, it would've been a go. I will also add that there is an awkward seam that ran across one breast and since I am busty it was no bueno.
