Not flattering, too unstructured
I like la double j and have enjoyed some of their looser/flowing dresses but this one was lacking in structure and unflattering.

Beautiful, unique fabric
This is a great fabric. I'm 5'6" (almost 5'7") and the high waist and low hem were just a little too much for me. I still loved it, but think it would have fit better if I were just a little taller. When sitting, the skirt can open a lot--there is a slip underneath but you may be more comfortable with tights. There is NO give in this fabric. Wear it to a standing cocktail party, but don't plan to wear it to sit all day at work or at a long luncheon or dinner. (I was uncomfortable between the opening in the front and the very tight, high waist. I got this as part of unlimited so did not have a back-up size, but the 8 would have fit better (not sure if the length might have been a problem). This is an absolutely fantastic skirt, but be prepared for a tight waist.

Pretty lace and festive look
I thought this dress would run small and I have athletic shoulders, so I sized up to an 8. It was too big and too long. I think a 6 would be perfect. I liked it, but didn't love it--it had some sparkle to it that was nice but made me feel a bit like an ice skater. I may rent again in a smaller size as my fiance liked it. Very festive and polished/ladylike.

Cut higher in back than I thought
This is nice quality but ultimately not as special as I hoped. I didn't even wear it to work as the cut would work better with a dress (back hem hits above the small of the back). For the right occasion this could be great, but it was sent as a replacement for an unlimited item I ordered that was not available and I didn't really have anything I wanted to wear it with, so sent it back. Arms fit small and seemed a but short--definitely has a shrunken feel. Go up a size if you have even slightly muscular shoulders.

Reviews said this was short and they were not kidding, but with opaque black tights I felt less exposed. I feel like it runs a little small but I wore it at Xmas when I was not my most slender.

Fit was odd in the hips but I am short-waisted
If I could have had this dress tailored for me it would be perfect. I have a short torso and think that may have thrown off where the slit hit. I got a 4 and a 6 and was not pleased with the fit of either--I returned for a different dress. RTR was great and credited my account.

Good quality, not too heavy
These don't come across as large and sparkly as they seem, which can be a good thing. I have dark blonde/light brown hair, which I wore down, and they did not jump out--but I didn't want them to compete with the necklace I wore (which is one I own rather than a rental). Not much of a gold tone--more of a dark silver/pewtery color. Comfortable.

Well-made, gorgeous, and roomy for an evening bag.
Loved this bag. It's beautifully constructed, feels sturdy, and fit everything I needed--phone, lipstick, gloss, money--without being bulky looking. Easy to carry. Would rent again or even buy.

Sexy, edgy, classy
Loved this dress. Need to be in good shape--hugs every curve. The 4 fit but was a little stretched out in the hips--more wrinkling/ruching than I would've liked--and the 6 just laid very smoothly. Rides up a bit if you're not careful.

Gorgeous--vintage and edgy at the same time
Not heavy at all--wore them for hours with no pulling or discomfort. The emerald is a slightly lighter color, which I liked. Not super sparkly. They're a little more matte, which lends a modern feel.
