I wore this out for a date night dinner and drinks. I'm a pear shape, usually a size 10 and I wore the UK14/US8. It was big up top on me so I had to use safety pins to shorten the halter where it fastens behind your neck. Otherwise if I sat down it would gap and look horrible. Once I did this there were no gaps so I didn't need fashion tape and I wore my hair down so you couldn't see the pins at all. I did wear a NuBra that I own but I didn't attach the clip in the middle. It's a low cut dress but tasteful. I really like the open back. I wore it with a gold cuff and shoes.The fabric and print is not as dressy as I thought it would be, so I would not wear to a formal event.

I loved this dress online and rented it for a night out, dinner and dancing. The dress design is unique and looks good in person. Unfortunately I've gained some weight and this style didn't work for me so I never wore it. Not the dress's fault ;) The dress is tight, nice thick fabric and it does suck you in, but not enough for me. I should stick to aline, flair and empress cut styles. What can I say....I was going out on a limb with this style. I have a bit of a tummy and I just didn't feel comfortable. I ordered a Large and Medium and I only tried on the Large. I also tried it on with spanx and without and I'd say you don't need spanx. I was impressed how quickly I got my dress, though I did have to pay extra for the shipping. My order was placed on Thursday morning and I got it the next day (west coast) by 3:00 pm, which was awesome! I was a little worried I was cutting it too close. If I was minus 10+ pounds I think I would have been happy.

This was a fantastic dress. It ran large, I am always a meduim and i ordered the medium and small, based on the other reviews. The small fit perfect, it was classy and very comfortable, great dress for a pear shape. I'm 5'3, 153 lbs at the time and it fell just above my knee. If you are tall, you may consider ordering a larger size for the length.
