So. much. fabric.
Oh lord. This is probably a very cute dress on a tall person! I loved the fabric and the cut definitely looked like it could be pretty. (I liked the bust and the front tie was cool!) But I got the small and was absolutely swamped in fabric. No shoes in the world would have been tall enough for me not to trip walking in this, and it wasn't just length but DEPTH. Multiple layers of material in the skirt - plus the gigantic sleeves - and this was just Too Much Dress. There was no question I would be able to wear it, and while the XS wasn't available I kind of doubt that would have done me much better, length-wise. Taller folks enjoy, but short ones should take a pass.

Like a delightfully casual princess
Somehow this was both just casual enough and made me feel like a princess. Maybe it's the sleeves? The length? The bodice? Anyway, at 5'2" the small fit me perfectly, coming just a couple inches above my toes (and the perfect length with heeled boots.) The fabric is incredibly light and flowy but designed so the skirt won't blow up revealingly in the wind. The bra strap fasteners keep it from sliding off your shoulders and the stretchy low-cut bodice was less revealing than I expected - though I did wear a cami-bra underneath. Definitely a fun, comfortable wear - maybe a tad more high-waisted than I'd prefer but enjoyable enough I considered buying it.

Fun, flattering, pockets!!
This was super fun, really flattering through the waist, and a perfect spring outfit! It is pretty low cut, so I added a lace bralet to cover up some décolletage. It was snuggest through the waist but oddly, going up a size didn't remedy this much, just made it a bit saggier through the back. Loved the pockets, loved the sleeves and fabric. V flattering through the torso and bust, but not a conservative look. Even on short people, it's going to be short in the leg.

Great for a holiday party!
A fun dress. Definitely a darker red than it appears in photos and like folks have said, a heavy, inflexible material. The fit was quite snug, to the point where it made me feel self-conscious about the cutouts at my waist. Going up a size helped me feel less bulgy but didn't fit well through my arms and shoulders, so I stuck with the XS. Not ideal for someone with a short torso, but it worked!

Great take on the little black dress! Fun for a company holiday party.
Loved this dress and got lots of compliments. Super comfortable; well fitting; light, soft, stretchy fabric. Could have been a run-of-the-mill LBD but the asymmetrical skirt and peep of petticoat made it fun and stylish! I'd recommend wearing a bra if you're over an A-cup, otherwise you get spread out in an unflattering way.

I absolutely adored this dress - but it was definitely not designed with the short in mind.
It's less that this dress runs large than it runs LONG. I'm 5'2" and wore five inch heels and the hem was still so long I couldn't walk. I ended up pinning it up six inches and it worked perfectly! The bodice was tight around my ribcage and the neckline is definitely plunging (next time I'd consider tape), but the fit is flattering, the skirt has great movement, and the fabric is gorgeous. I love the gold thread! I was able to dance in it all night and got lots of compliments. I tried the next size up as well to get looser through the ribs, which is where I'm broadest, but the straps were too long. It's definitely a cleavage forward look.

Don't work with a halter-neck; larger than expected.
These would have been fun with a different outfit, but were way too long/large for a halter-neck dress because they really hit you at your shoulders. I was expecting something more delicate, but these are hefty earrings! I also found the chains at the bottom had detached in the box; they were easy enough to reattach with some finessing but not the most secure. Cool earrings, didn't work for me.

Great dress for dancing
I would have been more comfortable in the size up except for the fact that my torso wasn't long enough and it made the neckline hit me awkwardly low. The size down worked (in that I could get it to zip), but was definitely snugger than was ideal through the bust and ribcage. Otherwise, it was a super fun dress! The skirt makes it great for dancing, the halter is very flattering to shoulders and arms, and it's cut well. I did have to hoist it up periodically and I wished the fabric had been just a little thicker since I couldn't wear a bra, but it was perfect for a summer wedding.

So much fun to wear - made walking down the sidewalk feel like a glamor shoot!
I LOVED this dress. I was expecting it to be a lot more over the top, but either from wear or how it's lit online, the colors are more muted than the pictures show (which was much more to my taste). You can wear the sleeves up or off the shoulder (though the latter feels more natural). I found a bra hard to subtly incorporate. It wears LONG on a short person - I am 5'2" and wore 3" heels and it still caught the ground - but the way it billows open around the front slit as you walk is a lot of fun and makes for a dramatic look. Just be careful as you hold it up going up stairs - the slit means it's easy to reveal more than you intended!

Perfect for a birthday brunch on a hot spring day!
Got lots of compliments on this! Loved the pattern and the length, and the cut-away kept it novel. The fabric was also the perfect weight for a warm spring day. Like others have said, the fit was tight around the ribs especially when you adjust the straps to the right length, but as a short person it was already too long to wear without heels so I didn't want to go up a size. Not much support in the bust, and if I'd been much bustier it would have been an issue. Still, I was sad to see it go!
