Most other underwear lines would show through (even thongs). All of that said, this dress will definitely put you at center stage. It's the perfect dress to show off in!

I've rented over forty dresses from RTR, and this is the only dress that I had to size up in. The bodice is quite snug, from waist to bust. That said, it is immensely flattering! There is a lot of structure to the upper portion of the dress, but the skirt is loose and drapey. This would be the perfect dress for a pear-shaped figure. The drapes in the skirt really minimize the lower portion of your silhouette, while the bodice accentuates the waist and bust line beautifully!
