I usually do M and L and L just barely fit (maybe slightly right across my back, by tzipped up.) Middle of zipper had some glitch that made it hard to zip up. I had to eventually turn it around and zip past that sticking point from the front, then spin it around to finish zipping. Long enough (with flats) for my 6'1" frame
