The fabric is a little thicker but has some stretch. It's very bright, think fluorescent colors. Perfect for spring, summer, and warm weather locations. It's got some flare at the hips giving it a ladylike feel and look. I have a hard time finding dresses that don't need tailoring or fashion tape. This is one of those rare dresses that won't need either. It hits above my knee 3-4 inches. It'll look great without and with a thin belt. It's a quite classic silhouette. I'm thrilled to have bought it through RTR clearance!

I rented this dress as a backup and even though I could fit it...it didn't look quite right. It was too daytime for the evening wedding. The colors on the website photo are a bit deceiving, when it came in the lace was light lavender as opposed to white. I think I'm a little to thin to wear this dress properly. I am typically a "0" in Nanette Lepore dresses, but some how this one didn't fit quite right. I might rent this again, but then again maybe not.

Ruffles needed to be ironed before wearing but that's quite normal. The fit was perfect. I didn't need to do anything to it to make it fit. The fabric is stiffer, very unforgiving if you are trying to squeeze into it. The color stood out, as lots of other people were afraid to brighten things up. It's a wedding for crying out loud, not a funeral! Wore a one side strapped bra. Dress hit me at mid-thigh. I wore it with nude platform shoes and crystal 2" earrings with a simple pulled back ponytail as to have the ruffles stand out more. Paired with natural eyeshadows and red lips.

I ended up returning it, the 0R fit, but kind of funny. The "V" needs fashion tape to hold in place for a small chested lady like myself. I'd give this dress another try, if the occasion comes along.
