Gorgeous dress, but narrow waistline.
This is a beautiful dress! The color, flowing skirt, and delicate lace embroidery are all stunning. The only negative I have is that the waistline has no give and is a little narrow. I wore the size 2, because of the waist (I wanted to be able to sit AND breathe at the same time). However the zero fit much better everywhere else. Overall I still loved the dress. It did feel like the top and waist did loosen a touch as the night went on. No bra needed, the built in pads gave a little support which was all the girls needed. Was a little long on me (5'3" with 2 " heels ) but just barely.

Easy but hot dress
This dress is a compliment magnet. It was comfy to wear for the formal dinner and dancing afterwards. I chose to go with the smaller of the two sizes I ordered so that I didn't need to keep pulling the dress up all night- good choice because I didn't have to adjust once. I wore a regular strapless bra with no problem. Potty break was a little tricky with the fitted mermaid shape. Overall flattering dress, nice heavy fabric with stretch, and forgiving for a full tummy after dinner.

Favorite dress I have ever rented from RTR!
The dress was very flattering with its A-line shape and V neckline. The fit was great and the fabric was sturdy enough to forgive any lumps and bumps with some give for comfort. I did have to wear a sticky bra because my strapless bra was showing under the arms. I wore a 38 petite, and it was still a little long (I'm 5'3" with 2.5" heels), but not enough that I needed to tape it under. Overall, I felt beautiful in this dress, and would love to own such a classic, flattering gown.

Comfy dress
This was a pretty and comfortable dress. It's a bit of a pain to put on as you have to step into it and shimmy the thick, stretchy fabric all the way up to your shoulders. But after you get into it, it's comfortable the rest of the night. Pros: thick, silky, stretchy fabric; flattering ruching from knees to bust line; you can wear a strapless bra with this one; good length for petite ladies (I'm 5'3" and had to wear kitten heals as my 2.5" heels were too tall); very comfortable sitting, standing, eating, and dancing. Cons: little difficult to walk in due to mermaid shape; bra kept peeking out from under lace (which could have easily been fixed with fashion tape); not easy to put on. It was not the most flattering dress I have rented due to my athletic shape (would be nicer on someone with a more defined waist or curves) but for a last minute rental it worked well.

Super flattering dress 7 weeks postpartum!
I wasn't sure how to size myself for this dress since our event was 7 weeks postpartum with baby #3. My non prego size is a 2 or 4. So I ordered a 6 and an 8 in this dress. The size six worked perfectly, kept the girls in check with a regular bra (big plus since I was breastfeeding), concealed my post-baby belly, and it has pockets so I could keep my phone with me. In addition to all of that, I felt lovely, which is quite a feat just a few weeks postpartum. I received lots of compliments, again another sign of a flattering dress this close to having a baby. I could not have rented a better dress!!

This is a beautiful dress, but it did not work for me.
It is beautiful and classic dress, but the waistband was too small for me, even though the bodice fit perfectly. Also, the back gaped open in a weird way. I have a shorter torso, so maybe this was part of the problem with the fit. So sad because I loved the dress. The fabric and flow were so lovely!

Great dress overall. It was both flattering and comfy.
I loved this dress. It was my favorite dress from Rent the Runway so far. I loved the color of the lace, and how the waistline was at the very narrowest part of my body. An added plus was that the skirt fabric is heavier in weight which was nice for a chilly winter formal event. My only trouble was that the back of the dress kind of gaped open. I tried using fashion tape to make it lay flat, but that didn't work. However, it was not a big deal in the grand scheme of the evening.

Beautiful gown, but WAY too small in the ribcage.
I was so sad when I tried on this dress, because I could not even get it zipped over my ribcage. I had ordered a size up, but that dress became unavailable. I would recommend renting both 1 and 2 sizes up just to make sure you have one that fits because it is a gorgeous dress.

Pretty color with a lovely flowing skirt but it had a strange fit.
This dress was lovely, but did not fit me as comfortably as I had hoped. Where the skirt meets the bodice was too snug, but the rest of the bodice was loose. You can see on the model the large wrinkle of fabric that runs from her bust to her waist, it looked that way on me too. In the picture I thought it was just the way the model was standing that gave it that bulge, but it must be how the dress was made. It was still pretty, but not a dress I wanted to dance all night in.
