Although the dress itself is beautiful, my body type (apple) made me easily look as if I were in my third trimester. But I do have a belly so it was me and not necessarily the dress (that's what I'll tell myself). I would recommend going a size up if you are busty, I was spilling over as a 42D/40C.

The reviews are correct, it does not matter what size/cup you are - the dress is cut in a way, that although gorgeous, is very revealing. It is almost an empire style cut, so it does cut right under the breast and flare out from there. The dress is a wonderfully heavy material. I am 5-11 and 240lbs. I am a true apple shape. My bra size is a 42D/40C. It was tight and would have preferred an 18, but it wasn't available. I wish I can own this dress!
