Great silky (but transparent) fabric
I didn't go anywhere to wear this that i could go the next route sans slip so didn't wear. The horizontal stripes were called out by my husks (not as a positive, flattering addition to the design).

... very flattering, but even with having incredibly flexible arms, there's absolutely no way I could use the bathroom and zip myself back up afterward... be forewarned. (size 6 was perfect - 32C, 28" waist, 38/39" hips)

large lapel
not my favorite, and I didn't end up wearing. It's a tricky choice with the thick fabric but the sleeveless design, and the lapels are a bit too large for my taste. fit wise, the 6R fit well all around (measurements below correct).

it's ok.
it's a bit matronly, and there's very little that special. I don't love that the fabric's inner surface is white, and it had a tendency to bunch between my legs when I walked. fit wise -- S was a good fit for me (measurement correct below). I will not choose this again, but it a great choice if you're looking for a modest dress option.

cute, great fit and really soft thin fabric
yes, it swooshes when you walk, but it's a very thin faux leather fabric in the prettiest burgundy shade. definitely recommended. M fit well on my generally size 6 body (measurements correct) with a little room, and the functional pockets were a bonus!

Not a fan of the style or the fit. The medium was somehow both too big and too small for my size 6 body. The sleeves and the front split were a no go. Definitely would recommend finding an alternative rental item.

Pretty but unconformable. I wore a burgundy shirt underneath, which was lucky because after walking okays from the car, it had spun enough that I would have been flashing my right boob, so BEWARE! The dress was also quite short @ about 6 inches above my ankle. My regular size 6 fit well, but I really need to remember that bias cut dresses just don't work well for my curves.

Fabric is great, straps are not.
Struggled to keep the straps up all day -- thank goodness it was cold and I was wearing a shirt underneath! The fabric is fantastic - no wrinkles and very thin, but still makes quite a bit of noise as you walk. Pretty, but I won't rent again. (Plenty of room in my regular size 6; measurements are accurate)

very bright - and loose
i know this isn't meant to be fitted, but the size 40 was way too big on my size 6 (stats below) body. should have sized down 1 - 2 sizes, but definitely would have needed to wear shorts underneath, which i did anyway because my bottom would have shown if i raised my arms. certainly makes a statement (hubby NOT a fan)

I'd buy this...
... but it's still way too pricey for the style. Though honestly - I got compliments all day on each of the 3 times I wore this. Looked really cute with the boxy pink sweater on top as a change. Note - it's not long. It was a few inches above my ankles and needed to be worn with flats (I'm 5"6 and wore a M) The rest of the fit was forgiving and comfortable and i loved the long sleeves. will rent again.

tie is interesting, but lets you highlight or hide
I really liked this dress. It was super comfortable and the main shaper is very loose. Some others complained about the tie, but for me, I used the upper on to go around my back first to highlight my tush and hold it tight, and then took the lower one to drape the front better. would wear again.

The front v is quite deep, and wouldn't be work-appropriate in my relatively conservative office, but it ** did ** look cute with a simple white tank underneath. Great shape with the shoulders, and the fit was good (size 40, stats below accurate: 29" waist, 39" hips), though the split made sitting tricky so wouldn't advise without an underlayer.

I should have listened to the other reviews. Size M is actually falling off me, and it should have been snug if it met my expectations. I'm a size6/8 on the bottom with 29" waist and 38-39" hips/ bottom at the widest part of my body. These were saggy below the butt, and would have fallen off if I tried to walk. Note that the waist dips low in the front (2-3 below my belly button) but back is high -- even with my round bottom. Size down. Or skip altogether. And I had such hopes for this outfit set.

loved the fit - Size M worked well on my relatively standard size 6 body (stats below correct; waist 29", hips 39") Would rent again, especially to repeat the tropical vacation setting. Do note that the fabric is pretty heavy and dress is fully lined. I would not have enjoyed in high heat.

very difficult to get the inner layer to lay appropriately, especially if you don't like to button up to top, since there's only one point of connection between the dickey-style inner placket and the outer shirt. Definitely also needs ironing, which is not my thing!

very undersized -- the last button was right at the end of my undies and wouldn't have covered anything (and that's ** if ** I could have buttoned it). Ordered my regular size 6 and would have needed 1-2 sizes up. Stats accurate below; 29" waist, 39" hips. I ordered it a 2nd time in a 10. Maybe it's UK sizing? still WAYYYYYYYY too small, with bottom button at crotch level and way too tight everywhere else.

I ordered my regular size 6 (stats are accurate) and it ** was ** the correct choice. But the dress is awful. Design is like a ill-fitting sexy nightie -- the front hole gapes and the zipper has absolutely no chance of laying well. I didn't wear -- and would recommend that you choice something else to rent.

I LOVE this dress
So comfortable, so flattering. I ordered a size S for my athletic/bottom curvy size-6 body (see my stats--they are accurate). This was so very wonderful to wear, so special undergarments required, unable to be wrinkles due to the neoprene-ish fabric, and stayed in place for the outdoor bocce party we were holding. Strongly recommend (I'd totally buy it!) and I'll come back for more of the same.
