Better for shorter waisted body types
Love the look and idea of this, but as a longer waisted woman the fold over bit hit too high and created an awkward line,

Elegant basic with a (literal) twist
The twist detail on both the front and back gave this basic beauty a bit more interest. Flattering through the torso with just enough flare from the waist to keep it forgiving. I will say having a relatively long torso and modest bust saved me from some of the issues others have reported. Tempted to keep as a basic but the shoulders are a wee bit narrow.

Kinda Retro Hella Cute
Received nwt and wore often. Flattering fit like a Henley tee but with the weight and warmth of a sweater. Seriously considered keeping save for the very distinctive print that I love now but suspect may tire of later.

Luscious pink
Not usually my color but rented as a sartorial statement for a hotel visit where their signature color is pink. Loved it! Great pop of color and a comfortable fit -- too often my arms feel restricted in jackets (why I often opt for knits vs structure). Could be the one to convert me to more structure *and* a new-for-me color!

Skims the body just right
File under fits I was surprised to like! It’s super thin material and fairly body con, but somehow doesn’t feel like too much. Like a flattering T-shirt. Ended up appreciating the fun print that’s both tropical AND has dinosaurs (?!) And since I love a good sartorial statement, this was perfect for O’ahu and a day trip that included a drive by Kualoa Ranch — yep, where Jurassic Park was filmed ;-)

Great travel dress
In addition to just being a go-to classic silhouette that adds interest with ruching and a great fit — the material is heavy and doesn’t wrinkle easily. A great basic-with-a-twist that I ended up buying. Super easy to dress up or down, too.

Polished with a sexy wink
I love a classic profile with a twist and this dress has got it. The length and cut keep it professional; but the peekaboo weave of the knit from mid thigh down keeps it more flirty than fussy. The *weight* is delicious too, and speaks to the quality of the dress. Truly on the “may have to buy it…” list.

Easy Elegance
This dress may be fully responsible for making me wear this color more often. I was wary of the silver metallic others noted, but it’s truly subtle and was pitch perfect for a work conference in Vegas. Received NWT and don’t know if it will make it back to RTR based on the stellar fit and loads of compliments.

Love the top bit neck runs small
Such a great, elevated basic -- but the neck hole did run small. Not sure of how it would end up looking with a few wears. I bought the same top in cream from RTR and that wasn't an issue.

Nice touch of sparkle, but tiny
I still loved using this to complement the black Rabanne draped shoulder dress, but just know fitting a phone may be a challenge. An iphone 15 plus could be wedged in -- leaving just enough room than for only a room key and a lippie. Fine for my purposes, but be prepared!

Fun, sexy, elegant
Love this dress. Wore it to a business casual opening night dinner at a gathering in the Bahamas, and it struck the perfect balance between appropriate and sexy, fun and elegant. The size 4 would have thrown that balance off kilter a bit, especially around the hips...the 6 was perfection. Especially since the waist wrap detail allows you to cinch it a bit more if you'd like. (Plus fruit stripe gum was my fave as a kid, so the pattern made for happy memories...) Will rent again!

Per so many other reviews...what a dream of a dress. It singlehandedly has me searching for any Saloni that might appear on RTR. Wore it to an outdoor event at Graycliff Mansion in Nassau, and it was ideal (pity the men required to wear jackets...) Everyone loved it as much as I did -- I literally had people the *next day* finding me just to tell me how much they loved the dress. I was grateful to notice a tiny hook closure in back that allowed the top to still feel flowy while hiding my bra strap. If it was a with-friends / on-a-date occasion, I would have happily gone braless and left it open. Will absolutely rent again, if not purchase!

Beautiful but costume-y
I do not shy away from a dramatic look, but as other reviewers have noted, I could not get away from the image of Jedi-priestess or Moira Schitt. Both of which I *love* by the way -- and seriously if I was going to a themed gathering of some kind, I'd rent it in a flash. (And likely will in the future.) The quality and heft of the fabric is like wearing a luxe weighted blanket, and you manage to feel both very covered and very sexy at the same time. I did find it interesting that the stripes that look kind of beige in the photo are actually sheer fabric -- and they read that way on the sleeves, but not on the body of the dress thanks to the heavy lining.

Gorgeous pattern + fit, odd cut-out
This dress fit beautifully, period. And as a typical non-pattern kinda gal, I loved this more monochrome-ish take and color. I just couldn't get over the cut-out. It doesn't seem to fit the vibe of the dress, and is small enough to make someone wonder if maybe you didn't close something correctly. I originally planned to wear the dress to a travel industry meeting in the Bahamas to walk that line between polished + still more resort-like -- but even in the setting, I thought I'd feel self-conscious of *the gap*. The fit is absolutely perfect though. Enough to where I'd consider wearing it in a different setting. Even the shoulder-not-really-shoulder pads worked, as did the kind of epaulet things on the sleeves-- two things I thought would look weird on, but actually supported the lines of the dress beautifully.

Straps a bit long, chest a bit tight
...and hips a bit much. I loved the overall look of the dress, it just didn't work for me. I had no idea whether to call it too small or too big, because my answer would be....it depends on where you're talking about. Straps are sometimes a bit long for me -- and not worth the effort to tweak. Definitely felt squished in the chest -- and sizing up would have made the bodice fit bigger than I would have liked. And while I like a good fit-and-flare, the way the extra fabric is at the hips made me feel like I could wear a pannier underneath (those 18-century hip bustle things...)
