When you want low-key drama
These earrings are beautiful, but not super-sparkly. I work them for a dinner out and left my dark hair down so they'd show to more advantage. Great for when you want the fun of long, swingy earrings without having too much of a statement.

Great color and retro feel to the design, weird zipper lump
From the front I loved the way this looked on me, but I had the bottom-of-zipper bump that some other reviews mentioned. Kind of resembled a tail so not what I was going for given the party was more of a standing one. I only tried one size via Unlimited -- which I found TTS -- but others said sizing up helped the "tail." I may try that and hope it's not too much fabric elsewhere.

Intricate design catches the light beautifully
Others have summed up the pros/cons of this dress well. TTS, dramatic, elegant, figure-enhancing without showing a lot of skin, perfect for a conservative event. In the end I think it might be a little *too* serious for my event but am keeping it in mind. I'm 5'4 and 3 inch heels had shoes peeking out in front and a tiny train in back.

Top had padding and structure, but I needed more
Having seen this dress look amazing on some many, I took a chance in trying it despite worries about the bodice. While the top has structure and light padding, it's no substitute for underwires -- if you get what I'm saying this dress may not be for you (I chose to return without wearing). Overall beautiful dress, but as mentioned in other reviews the ribbon is unforgiving so you may want to size up.

Gorgeous color and dress, just not right for me
The review photos were all over the place in how the color looked so I took a chance on it. Unfortunately I need a deep almost blue-green and this shade, while amazing, was a little too bright and clear for me -- a true beautiful emerald. Re fit: I felt the bust area was a little small as it felt tight around my neck. This was part of my Unlimited subscription so I didn't have the backup size option. If I had, I might have tried one size up in Petite as I found this ran pretty long, even for a BM gown. At 5'4 with 4" heels the fabric skimmed the floor, and as there was lots of it I was a little worried I'd catch a heel. It flowed beautifully, however! Like the other BM gowns I've tried the zipper on this one was very difficult at the waist seam (even when not on the body) so be patient. I've now found that holding onto the fabric around the zipper and gently pulling *down* while zipping up helps.

An easy way to look pulled together for work -- turned out to be a compliment-catcher
First, while this is technically a dress it's actually only sewn together for a few inches in center front. This makes it a little tricker to get off and on, but since the material is stretchy it's not a big deal. The dress' strong lines, interesting draping in the front, and rich color drew me toward it and seemed to be what others loved, too! Stretch material is quite thin so I wore a slip to avoid cling and sheerness in sun. Re size/length: I'd say TTS, but I have straight hips. Top was generously cut, full bust was fine; skirt is fairly straight so if your curves are more front-to-back than side-to-side maybe start TTS, otherwise you may want to consider sizing up. Though I'm 5'4 I have a *really* high waist, so while skirt was a midi it didn't fall as long on me as it would on someone with a more typical waist.

Burgundy Bixia Dress

Ideal for a funk concert/dancing so I made it work -- added blouse, got props from my date!
Such a comfortable and fun dress I decided to make it work vs sending it back. I added a sheer black blouse and a lace half-camisole to offset the plunging neckline issue. -- Mega-stretchy so it will both show what ya got and adapt to various body types. Thick material good for smoothing over things. -- I'd size down for backup, though broader shoulders or larger bust might fill out top ok -- DEEP plunge to bottom of bra band on me ( I'm short-waisted so also had a little extra fabric in back) -- Longer in the back on 5'4 me than is ideal for flattery (hit mid-calf), but curving high-low hem makes this a special dress so I left it alone

Lovely dress, but just OK on me
The type of flower print on this dress is one of my favorites -- so much so that I forgot what type of prints flatter me most. As a result of the print placement and colors, this Unlimited subscription dress was very "eh" for me. It was also a little short (38" in the 2 vs the 40" listed) for my preferences and a cold wet day, so I decided to just funk it up and throw it on over flares. GOOD: The larger-scale, medium-contrast print is ideal for those looking to add or accentuate curves. Dark navy, grey, and off-white combine to create an overall muted appearance that's ideal for those who do better in lower-contrast looks. Contrary to another review, the arms were plenty long for long-armed me. I found it TTS, and the bust actually had more coverage than other DVFs I've tried in this size (not saying much!). I got several compliments on the dress, which looks high-quality. KNOW THAT: The silk knit feels great on, but it's a little sheer -- while it was a bit of overkill since I paired it with jeans, I wore a full slip out of habit with wraps. The flattery factor of this dress is all about how it lays on your body...it looks great on other RTR members, but I felt it made me look wider and didn't do much for my bust area.

One part warm-weather goddess, 1 part Old Hollywood star!
Rented this via Unlimited as I have a few events in mind for it and didn't want to take it off! Amazing, slinky dress in a substantial yet lightweight silk that created a beautiful flow when walking. Spring/summer weddings, parties, dinners...so many places this can go. At 5'4 with 3" heels the length was fine. TTS for me -- but be aware there's no give in the waist due to zipper and the shape is fairly straight (as am I). Due to deep keyhole and fairly deep armholes (see photos) I recommend a strapless bra.

Not my usual, but fun to try on
I'm using Unlimited to test out things I wouldn't necessary buy and so many women looked awesome in this I took a chance when it was only available in the smaller of my sizes. I may try to order the size up to compare fit, because this one didn't do much for me. It was both too flattening and too small in the bust, and I was hoping to get more of an hourglass look to my very non-HG shape but didn't. As I'm short-waisted I think the design just hit me in the wrong place. At 5'4 the length hit me above the knee.

Gorgeous dress, will have to wait for my size!
This was one of my first Unlimited tries; I took a chance on the smaller of my sizes as it was the only one available, though from reviews I thought one size up would be best. Unfortunately for me I couldn't get it zipped beyond my bra band/upper rib cage so it went back in the bag immediately. Will wait for my size to be available! Re length: I'm 5'4 and it skimmed the top of my 3" heels.
