I said yes in this dress!
so comfortable... I melted in this dress on a hot summer NYC day, but I also got proposed to, and it was so feminine and light and went so well with my ring and the day itself. HOWEVER, it was EXTREMELY bodycon-- very tight and gets a little transparent! so be cognizant of that, maybe size up? anyway. loved this.

clingy but professional
this is DEFINITELY a very sexy dress, if you let it be-- but it can also be polished and professional. I paired with a Thankoon jacket for the end of a leadership conference that my company led, and was delighted by the versatility and comfort of this dress-- I could host a graduation ceremony AND break down the step-and-repeat at the end of the day. The fabric was thinner and clingier than I would have liked to wear it without the jacket, but that might be a me thing.

Relaxed fit-- but polished enough to wear to meetings on Capitol Hill. I personally love oversized fits, and Thakoon knocked it out of the park. Fit perfectly, while still looking polished and making me feel comfortable. Matched well with a different color of khaki for the pants and even went along nicely with the dresses in my shipment.

this dress is EVERYTHING.
royal blue, velvet, lined-- perfection. body-hugging in all the right places. I had a delicious dinner, danced all night and felt like a movie star in this dress. hit just above the floor in 2.5" heels. did start to gap on the sides as the night wore on-- the hanging straps were also very annoying-- but ultimately, this dress was an absolute dream and I felt amazing in it.

halloween 2019!
I rented this and the Mara Hoffman orange skirt to be Global Warming for Halloween! it was a great costume, got compliments all around. the top was really comfortable-- but the white stripes are actually pinkish up close? not much of a difference at a party, but a little odd... anyway, loved it!
