The collar elevates this to preppy business-casual. I dressed up with cropped slacks and pumps and felt super-confident all day. The length is just right. The sleeves were a bit long, but looked great scrunched up a bit. The medium worked well but was loose-fitting; I definitely could have gone with a small for a more fitted look. The material was incredibly soft and a little fuzzy -- it came with the tags so was obviously brand new, but I could see how it might snag or pill over time.

This dress was very structured and fit well; the tailoring is impeccable. Based on other reviews, I sized up to a 6 and am glad I did. The length was perfect on me for work, and the lace stripe on top is flirty (your skin subtly shows through) while the other lace panels have white underneath. I wore with black wedges to dress it down a bit for my casual workplace and got tons of compliments. Note that the top is snug, so don't wear this if you need a ton of mobility -- you can only lift your arms up to about shoulder height.

I chose this to wear to a graduation because of the cute pattern. The fit is great and has nips and tucks in all the right places, unlike many shifts that can be boxy and shapeless. I typically wear a 2 or 4 and the 2 was perfect. I received many compliments, even from strangers. Looked great with both the heels I wore initially as well as sparkly flat sandals I changed into for the party afterwards. The length wasn't too short on me and the sleeves provide good coverage, so I'll definitely wear to work before sending back!
