Masquerade dress
I wore this to see Masquerade on Broadway. It was a cute yet chic mini dress. The balloon sleeves and wide top were fun, especially in contrast to the knit and fitted mini on the bottom. It was comfortable to wear. One note is that the top closes with just a hook and loop, and the loop is just a piece of black thread and not metal. The first dress I got, I thought it was missing the clasp, then I realized when they sent me a replacement that that's just how it's made!

Nice purse for going out. Fits a phone, cards, lipstick. Big enough for the basics, but small enough to be lightweight.

Elegant but almost baggy in shape
I liked this halter top. It was comfortable and lightweight, which was nice for humid summer nights. For me, I would've been more flattering if the front of the halter were more narrow, and if the back was not so loose and drapey. I mostly wore it with a strapless bra and tucked the back into the bra for more structure. The photo here shows what it looks like with no bra.

Very short skort
It is voluminous and hit at the upper thigh for me. Hard to wear because it’s sort of casual with the mini length and cowboy look, but it doesn’t look truly casual. The fabric and pattern are nice.

Ok cropped polo
As others have mentioned, the way the top is cropped with a cinched drawstring is odd. It sort of wants to sit at the waistline, but if you lift your arms up, it will ride up. Normal for a cropped shirt, but it just doesn’t work as well cinched. I didn’t mind the boxy fit. The polo collar with double buttons was underwhelming. I described the look as French Open ball girl. It reads as a uniform rather than preppy cute.

Glittery and flattering
This knit dress is very heavy, but it wears so well. It hangs nicely on me (even a petite person) and automatically looks elegant with the little sparkle in the fabric, metal button details, ribbing, and ivory color. This is my second time renting. It’s a perfect winter dress for a fancy dinner out.

Cozy college prep loungewear
The fabric material and color look nice - expensive, classy loungewear. I love the college letter too, but whether an M works for you or not depends on who you are. It can be a kinda random giant letter to wear on your front. Works well with leggings because it’s so boxy.

Holiday glitter fest
This dress is easy to wear but a little shapeless. It doesn’t have much structure or shape on me, so it’s not super flattering, but it’s also not unflattering. The fabric is clearly festive, and between the long sleeves and medium length, it works for any holiday party. I would not buy, but it’s a worthy rent.

A solid peplum top for work. Khaki and unoffensive, lightweight fabric but not flimsy. The v-neck is deep, so consider what you wear underneath as it will show.

This is a clingy shirt with an OK cut. It might work better for someone very curvy or very willowy, but maybe less so in between. I like the burgundy color and almost bell sleeve. The fabric is fine but not soft.

Tricky buttons on a looser-fitting shirt
I like this sort of half-sleeved almost-cardigan. The fabric and buttons look luxurious. The buttons are hard to undo. It seems to run a little large in the waist, so the relative shapelessness made it 4 rather than 5 stars for me. A nice transitional top from summer to fall.

I love the material, which doesn’t seem to wrinkle easily, and the pattern. The spandex chest and straps emphasized my underarm bulge, so I didn’t love how that looked. With some adjustments to the back, it was wearable.

I went with RTR’s recommended size for me, which is my usual size, and I regret it. I could zip the dress up around my bust, but you can see how it squishes everything around it. Will try on one more time to see if I can get a single wear out of it. Otherwise, it was a wasted spot for the month!

2nd time I wore this dress to a wedding
I reliably get compliments on this dress. It’s fancy but not too fancy. Woodland princess vibes. I’m short and I can get by with no or low heels (but I do have to lift the skirt to walk up and down stairs). It’s comfortable and flattering with adjustable straps. I chose the smaller of 2 sizes. Would consider buying!

The size listed is UK!
Size up by at least one size!! I thought I did that and ordered sizes 6 and 8, when my typical size is 4. But…RTR ships this by the UK size (eg, “size 6” is UK size 6, which is US size 2). My typical size - US size 4 - was difficult to zip up around the bust and waist, so I ended up not being able to wear this event rental at all! Even with 2 different sizes sent!

Personally there is nothing to dislike about this dress. I couldn’t decide if it would have benefitted from an iron or steam for the bottom pleats. The fabric is almost like canvas. Fit was great for me.

A little small in the waist but very cute
The high waist is a little small on me. The inner button was necessary to not have a gap at the top of the zipper. The gold button is a little awkward but looks very classy. Absolutely love the scallop hem. The material is lightweight but verges on wrinkly.
