I’m pretty much a solid size 10, so I ordered the medium and the large and when I tried the medium, it was not flattering at all, even though it fit something about the waist fitting tightly, which made the rest billow out. I wore the large and it was actually so flattering and fit very well! I got so many compliments for my husband’s colorful birthday party. I love it!!

I received so many compliments and I really liked how I looked in the dress, it was perfect for a birthday night out in Atlantic City. I especially loved the neck line. For a cold winter’s night it was great paired with black tights and black suede pumps and gold tone earrings. I didn’t wear a necklace or any bracelets because I wanted the dress to stand out alone. I read the reviews about how the material is thick and pulls you in but the dress was a size 12 and I’m normally a size 10. I had a feeling I would need the 12 because of the cut, but boy, I barely got into it and I was pretty uncomfortable all night. It wasn’t very convenient to use the ladies room lol as it was so tight around the hips, it was hard to pull up and straighten out each time. But that’s the price for vanity. I think it looked good on me and I’m glad I rented it, but it was a very humbling experience, and it put me on a fast track to shedding a few pounds in the next few weeks. I also liked the chest area. I did have a strapless bra, but I probably could’ve gone without one because the chest area was very snug and offered a lot of support. Overall, very happy with this rental!

I was a little nervous about this because I had it delivered straight to my hotel so I didn’t have a chance to try it on with my foundations, shoes and jewelry first. The best news is, is that none of that mattered because all I really needed was a simple strapless black bra and sterling silver jewelry. No special spanx, or hose, or shoes. No pedicure needed, just my black Frye boots. So easy to wear. Didn’t have to worry about sucking my gut in all night and the length was great, no worries about a dress riding up. I hate that. Fit was perfect, I wouldn’t have wanted it any smaller or larger. I admittedly was very “fancy” on the casino floor with this on, but I didn’t want to change after dinner and after all, it was my 65th birthday, I figured I would soak up all the attention for the night. My husband said this reminded him of Stevie Nicks, and yes, that would be true. The only teeny thing is that the shoulder straps occasionally fell down but it wasn’t constant. I could have tied them tighter.

I got the large and extra large and I'm typically a size 10. The large was good, even a little snug. This dress looks amazing on, but looks unappealing on the hanger lol. It really hugs your body but in a good way. I thought it was very slimming but of course I also wore spanx. I did not wear a bra and it was fine! The top ruffle took care of that. I also did not feel that the dress was falling down all night which I often find with strapless dresses.

I wore this for my company's gala and I felt fabulous. I recently retired and I wanted to shine and I certainly did! Received so many compliments. Material is very luxurious and thick, held me in nicely. Dress has built in bra cups which are ok for providing "coverage" but if you are larger up there, you may want to use a strapless bra for support. I just went commando up there and I was fine. If you want to wear the sleeves off the shoulder, you will want fabric tape. Highly recommend!

Was complimented by every person who greeted me. Wore this to a big family birthday party where I had not seen relatives for a long time. I felt so confident and pretty in this dress. This is definitely my color! I was hesitant at first because it seemed kind of drab in the photo, but the print and the cut really made it pop. I don’t wear short dresses, so I really liked the hi-low aspect of this cut. I think it definitely needs a belt, and I loved the way my western belt went with my Frye boots, but I wish someone told me that it was hanging so low, I would have brought it in a notch or two because this dress really can do great things for your waist if you have one. If there was one tiny thing I was a little self- conscious about it was the high neck. I was a little surprised when I tried it on and immediately just saw my 62 yr old neck which I can’t do anything about. I’m sure no one else noticed but it will be a reminder to me to avoid high necks in the future.

I loved this dress and even considered purchasing. True Lauren quality. I wore this for my birthday trip to AC. I love a black dress, but this was on the cusp of matronly funeral and hot lace party dress. To wear for a festive mood, you can't wear a jacket and you definitely need high heels and jewelry. I loved this dress! I rented it for a woodstock themed bday party for a family member who is celebrating 70 years of life! It was perfect - the colors are even more vivid than in the photo. Fit is great - I mean, totally forgiving! I wore a medium and I'm a true size 10. The length was longer on me than I thought which made me even happier. Chilly day, mid 50's and we were outside all day. I wore a long sleeve dusty blue tee underneath, denim jacket, and favorite boots. We had a greenery theme for my daughter's shower and this dress was perfect! I got so many compliments and I was so happy, but it did take a little work, about 5 minutes! This dress was beautiful but I’m sorry I don’t have a full frontal photo of me in it because every photo I had, I was covering myself up with either a scarf or my award. I’m a solid size 10, which is usually a medium. Thankfully I ordered the large as a backup, but I was mortified that the large also was too small. I’m a pear shape, so I guess if my hips and thighs were smaller, it would have fit. It’s a beautiful dress, but no give whatsoever. The top is also very low cut. This dress would be great on someone who is normally a size 6-8 with straight hips and a small bust.

I don’t know what I was thinking. I have loved all my RTR outfits, but this was a very complicated relationship. First of all, I’m a pretty solid size 10 and I usually carry it well, but I just felt so fat in this. I had to wear the large, couldn’t even consider the medium. So even with the large, there were rolls and bulges all around. There was even an extra bulge on my poor little waist which is my one of my best features. The material was so clingy. Issue #2...couldn’t really wear a nice spanx because the back came down so low. I did wear one, but I kept running to the ladies room to adjust it because it was showing. Issue #3....I tried to use sticky boobs, but I realize that they are not made to lift, but basically only provide coverage and at my age, I need the lift. I wound up with a backless bra which came around the front of my belly. In combination with my spanx that needed constant adjustment, it was a real pleasure! Issue #4...the shape...ugh...not for me. I’m a short pear shape. Anyway, I wore it, had fun, and received compliments, but you always know when you don’t look your best, lol. I’m sure this will look lovely on a tall thin person with a perky chest, but as I always say, I have other assets... not those!

Wore this to the rehearsal dinner for my daughter's wedding, Labor Day weekend. I felt amazing in it - it was very form fitting but I actually chose the closer fitting 8 over the 10 which I normally wear. It was a perfect dress for the occasion! I was a little worried because some people said they wore it for the holidays or for Valentine's day, but it is actually really not red or maroon at all. It is more of a berry color, but not purple. Wore this for my daughter's bridal shower on July 15. Wedding is beach themed, shower was at a yacht club, and we are so totally Greek, which made this Mediterranean-inspired dress perfect! I got so many compliments and I knew they were all true, lol! The dress looked amazing and it was so totally me...I felt so great in it. The fit was snug, I must admit, but it was a perfect fit. Just no room for extra bloating. I am always a size 10, but pear shaped so the bottom was risky but my spanx did the trick. I stupidly ordered the back-up in a size 8 because the photo made it look flowy, which it is not. I would recommend ordering your true size, and one size up for the back-up. The material is a little stretchy, which makes it really move with you. The only problem was the straps...one arm I pinned up before the party because it was obviously too hang-y. I was surprised to see my other strap down in all the photos. I didn't feel it, but there it was - down in all. I asked my friends who said they thought it was supposed to be that way. I made them promise on the day of the wedding they will be more attentive to the Mother of the Bride wardrobe malfunctions! lol Get this dress! it's beautiful!!
