Distinctive, jaunty
Made me feel like I could do dance moves and/or parkour around the city beyond my actual capabilities. Fun and a little sassy. Belt doesn't quite loop around enough to stay put, but fashion tape helps, although that makes it even more of a production to use the bathroom. Still worth it!

Gorgeous with belt
Wore it to a dinner party with a simple brown leather belt and got many compliments on the elegance of this dress. Light and comfortable. Better colors for fall than for spring.

Cool collar, but this wool (?) wrinkles, hangs funny, and ends up looking slovenly, not like a fine piece. A normally complimentary friend said I looked like a creep in a trench coat in an alley.

Great work dress!
Not too short (with opaque tights) on someone 5'4" (in two-inch heels). It took me a little while to figure out how to tie the sleeves, but they're very cool. I usually wear a 2 or 4 in dresses, and the 2 was the right size in this one. Nice and warm, too -- a thick, lovely kind of crepe.

Totally glam!
The color and material are both a lot richer than I gleaned from the other photos. A deep red, and nice and thick, mostly matte, but with a little sheen. Beautiful. And the neckline is great. I'm really only 5' 3 1/2", and I had to wear my lower heels, like 2", because the 3-4" ones made the dress too short.

Comfortable elegance
I am 5'4" and 120 lbs. ... slender waist, decent chest, short torso ... and I usually wear a 2 or 4 in dresses. This 4R fit wonderfully (over spanx), and with 2.5-inch heels, it was the perfect length. The lining is wonderfully comfortable, brushes your legs and just feels rich. I felt very elegant and got lots of compliments! I read some complaints about the zipper ... even if the dress isn't tight, it's just helpful to have another person hold the two sides together while you pull.
