I was in love with this dress before it arrived, but as soon as I tried it on, I knew I couldn't wear it. The print is stunning and looks really fun and contemporary. The sleeves that look loose on the model are skin tight, and the whole dress fits narrow through the hips. I read that it ran small so I got a 10, and a 12 as backup. The 12 fit on the hips but was really loose through the midsection, so it looked like a sack. The 10 was close fitting all over, and when I put on shape wear beneath, you could see the lines where it ended. The lining hung down slightly below the hem, and when I raised my arms, I could feel air on my undies!

I rented this dress to replace another I picked out, and I am SO GLAD I wore it. The style is so flattering to my shape, the lace is of a nice quality, and it's a fun style that doesn't look too formal or frumpy at all while keeping my large chest under wraps. I wore it to a movie premiere and people in the crowd told me how lovely my dress was, which was amazing. The color stood out without being too loud. I'd buy this if I could, and will definitely rent again.

These earrings are stunning and were the perfect complement to my yellow lace dress, but fair warning, they are heavy and not hypoallergenic. I ended up with sore, painful ear lobes, though I'm not sure whether that was just the metal of the posts or the sheer weight of them.

I loved this necklace, though I ended up not being able to wear the dress it went with. It felt impressively solid and well crafted, and I think the style would go with a lot of different styles of dress.

I know others said this dress runs large, but I think it's totally right in terms of the waist measurement and shoulders - it's just more generous in the bust which suits this 32G perfectly. I'm 5 foot 4 and this hit me a couple of inches below the knee, and the A-line flared skirt was so figure flattering. This was meant to be my back up dress, but the other one I got (and the back up size) just weren't as flattering to my body when I tried them on. To echo what others have said, the color is a vibrant magenta shade of brocade with a black background. I felt like wearing a belt would have detracted from the pleating detail on the bodice, so I accessorized with a chunky necklace instead. This dress surprised me so much, and I'll probably rent it again!

I loved this dress in photographs, but while I loved the style and fabric it was just a no go on me. The shoulders were wider than mine and the torso was longer, creating saggy lines between the natural waist and shoulders. If I were 5 foot 7 with smaller breasts and slightly wider shoulders, this would have been perfect!
