As a girl with hips I'll tell you my favorite thing was how the fabric gives. It's great for girls with curves and is a very flattering dress. My husband loved it and I had a really great time at our fundraiser. My complaints are exactly what you read throughout: 1) it needs to be longer. I'm 5'8'' and had on 1.5 inch heels and it felt a little short but I still wore it. 2) the lining was popping out around the bust so I had to use fashion tape to get it to stay. It didn't work 100% but helped to showcase has pretty the fabric detailing was vs. looking like the top was being pulled down. Overall a nice rental experience.

I am 5'8" close to 5'9" and weigh about 150. My hips are the largest part of my body and this dress doesn't give you an inch. The top was great on the 8 I started with but there was no way I could wear this dress out. It's truly too bad because I think it's a beautiful dress. If your hips and thighs are your trouble area I recommend 1 and 2 sizes up.

I got this dress last minute for an outdoor wedding party. It arrived right on time and really surpassed all my expectations. I read the customer reviews and knew it would be great but once I put it on I didn't want to take it off. The only 'regret' I have is that I didn't just order a 6L and 6R. Instead I ordered a 4L and 6L. They aren't kidding when they say this dress is long. I was in 3-4 inch wedges and the front peices were still dragging the floor. I was able to pin them up in a discrete way so it worked but I was shocked to find something that was too long for me given it's always the opposite. I went with the 6 over the 4 because it was too tight around the chest area. Built in bra was great and I had a really great time wearing this comfortable, fun maxi dress!

I rented this dress for a girlfriends bachelorette party. It was a 'Pop Diva' theme and I had a blue wig that could go Katy Perry or Lady Gaga so I wanted a fun, pop star kind of dress. I found this and it turned out perfectly. The dress was very comfortable when I got it on and you can't help but show of your chest in a classy way in this number. The only reason this didn't get a 5 is becuase of 2 things. 1) Clubs get hot, especially when dancing and I got pretty hot in this dress. The sleeves are very tight so you won't get good ventilaition. Don't wear in warmer months! 2) It was very tricky to get on. The zipper is a little tough getting over the satin part of the dress and the top is sooo tight that you really have to work yourself in. Once its on it feel fabulous but I'd advise putting deodorant on after or else you'll get it all over the dress.

i wore this to a friends wedding in April and was very impressed with the dress. The fit was great and I honestly felt so comfortable all night long. I'm typically between a 4 and 6 depending on the designer and I easily fit into the 4. I'm tall and wore about 3 inch heals and the length was perfect. You won't regret getting this dress. It will look great with minimal effort.
