Material is thick. I'm normally a small and glad I ordered an XS because the XS feels like it could be a M. It has an oversized look so it's not very flattering or form fitting to your body but comfortable and beautiful, especially for Fall! I dressed down with black leggings and dressed up with jeans and boots.

I'd never think of fitting in an XS, but it was perfect. It did not arrive with the hood sadly, but it was still a huge win for our Christmas tree hunt and football game the day after. With layers underneath, it's nice and warm. Well made. I'll absolutely rent again.

All Shoshanna dresses are incredible and this style is just lovely/perfect. It worked out well for the evening wedding I attended. One thing to note about the specific dress I received --- the clasp/zipper came undone MANY times throughout the night causing the zipper to go halfway down my back! Thank goodness people told me, otherwise, my chest would have been fully out :( It is obvious that this specific dress (fabric and zipper) is "tired."

This is a perfect necklace to spice up any strapless dress. I am leaving off 1 star, however, because it had an unpleasant/dirty odor to it (possibly from the previous person?) when it arrived, which was a bit of a turn off. Otherwise, I loved it and so did lots of other women at the wedding I attended.
