It was 95 degrees the day of my event so they said black tie was not required. This dress was cool and still felt formal enough. I had to tuck a good portion of the neckline/underarm area into my strapless bra since the dress was fairly large around. I also tied the over-shoulder ties very tight. I would size down in this dress.

I loved this dress, especially the color palette for an "Autumn" with olive skin. The one shoulder look is very flattering without feeling like you are showing too much skin. The fabric is so nice and you can tell it is expensive and well made. It comes in nicely at the waist without being too tight. It was cool and comfortable for walking, sitting and standing all evening.

I really liked the Grecian style of this dress and the beautiful colors. I am 5'6 and it was inches too long even with the highest heels I could handle. Because of the fine pleats, there is no good way to pin it or use hem tape and have it look decent. It was very flattering on, but I just couldn't wear it due to the length. If you were very clever and could pin it up in back like a bustle you might be able to make it work.
