I am seriously OBSESSED with this dress. It was super hard to return this one. I wore it to an awards banquet for an organization my company is a member of, and I got SO many compliments! I especially loved the high-low hemline--it was very flattering. The 6 fit me like a glove, and it had POCKETS! I wore strappy black heels and statement earrings. I didn't feel as though a necklace was necessary because of the color-blocking on the dress, but I think a necklace would still work just fine. It was nice to not have to worry about heel height in regards to a floor-length dress--this has all the best aspects of a formal gown without the annoying parts! 10/10 would recommend this dress--the pictures don't do it justice!

I loved this dress! The cut of the neckline was super flattering. I LOVED having pockets, but I will say, they did bow out a bit while I was wearing the dress. Honestly, I am probably the only one that noticed it, but it annoyed me just a little. I wore this dress to a black-tie optional wedding in September in Sarasota, FL. Let me tell you--if you plan on wearing this dress in Florida in the summer, you may want to reconsider. As much as I loved this dress, I thought I was going to have a heat stroke! The wedding was outside, so there was no escaping the heat/humidity. This dress's layers and thick fabric made it almost miserably hot. Besides that, this dress fit very true to size, and I was able to wear flats with the 6R without it being too short. The fabric doesn't stretch, so there's no margin of error when it comes to the size. I would totally rent this dress again!

I rented this dress for my sister's rehearsal dinner. The dinner was formal, but being the bombshell that she is, she requested that the bridesmaids and I (I was her MOH) not wear floor length gowns so she could "stand out" (as if she needed help with that!). I was struggling with finding a dress that was formal enough for the occasion without being a gown. This dress was the perfect find! I will say that it is a little shorter in person than in the picture, but it didn't look inappropriately short. I rented the 4R with the 6R as my backup size, and to be honest, I could have worn the 2R. I will attribute this to the fact, however, that the dress has no real shape to it (it IS a shift, after all), and also that this is probably the smallest I have been in the last five years--my sister and I did some pretty intense dieting prior to the wedding. I have quite a small chest, so I got away with going braless (I wore petals)! I do wish the neckline had been just a little lower. I like the crew neck cut of the dress, but it felt a little "too close for comfort" at times, but that is just personal preference. The sequins didn't bother me at all on the dress, and it was perfect for drinks and dancing after the dinner. You won't be disappointed with this dress!

I was a bridesmaid in a wedding in which we were given a color palette with pretty much free reign on style, fabric, length, etc. I went with this dress because it looked so unique on the website. Let me tell you--the picture does NOT do it justice. This dress was a SHOWSTOPPER. Multiple people stopped me/approached me to simply GUSH over this dress. If you have any semblance of a curvy figure, this dress accentuates it in all the right ways. I have quite a small chest, so I got away with only wearing petals in place of a traditional bra/sticky boobs. It is a bit lower cut than the picture suggests. I didn't have any trouble with the shell riding up, either. The only reason I gave this dress four stars instead of five was the length. I read every review and most every one said the dress ran long, even with heels. I ordered the 4R and the 6R instead of the long in both sizes--the 4R fit like a glove, and I wouldn't have even needed to wear the petals had I worn it, but it was just TOO short. I am 5'5"-5'6", and it didn't even touch the floor. I ended up wearing the 6R just for the length, and I still ended up having to wear flats, when I had intended on wearing heels. Overall, if you want to receive hella compliments all night, rent this dress!

I normally wear a 4 or a 6 in dresses, so I decided on the long versions in each size. I am SO glad I got the 4, because I honestly could have worn the 2. The way the dress is made, you definitely want it to cling a bit. It was gorgeous on, and I received compliments all night on it--and from complete strangers to boot! I wore this dress to a black tie wedding, and people told me I looked like I was going to the Oscars. Huge success. I chose the long because I wasn't sure what heel height I was going to ultimately wear; I ended up choosing a fairly modest heel--about 2 inches. Because of this, I ended up holding the dress up to walk up stairs, but it wasn't anything inconvenient. I didn't wear a bra because of the gorgeous open back, and it didn't cause any problems. If you're on the fence about this dress, take my word for it: you won't want to give it back!
