This dress was cute and fit very well. It was a nice length - not too long (and weird like it draws attention to the cankle area) and not too short (like... are you wearing a tunic/shirt or is that a super-mini dress?). I didn't end up actually wearing it out because I rented it to wear the night before a wedding and it just seemed a little to formal for the venue and setting... but it was super cute and would be a fabulous cocktail dress or fun dress for an evening out... or even for a wedding itself.

I loved this Milly dress! I wore it to a Kansas wedding, the only problem was that it was in June and warmmmm... and at the time I kind of wished I wasn't in a black dress (that was a somewhat heavier material) under the sun. However, it was amazing and gorgeous and once I was in air conditioning, it was much more fitting for the event. I loved the scoop neckline in the front and it fit wonderfully. Shows off a small waistline wonderfully, and then flared out before being too tight on my larger pear hips. The only section that was a little weird fitting was the chest, but nothing that a little Hollywood Fashion tape couldn't solve (and it even held up to the sweaty Kansas weather).

Art deco inspired and fabulous

These were a great statement piece that worked in lieu of wearing a bigger /heavy necklace with the neckline of the dress I picked out. Added a nice amount of sparkle/formality without being totally overpowering.

I wore this to a cocktail evening event prior to law school graduation at Glenn Manor, in Portsmouth Rhode Island. This dress was gorgeous, well made, and intricately detailed. The material, color, and embellishment choices really elevates it to the next level. The sheer sleeves were my favorite part. It was a wonderful dress and I received compliments all night. This was my very first rent the runway experience. NOTE* I ordered a 4 and a 6, I probably could have worn a 2, if I wanted it to fit a littler tighter (like as shown in the models' picture depicting the dress). It fit me a little loser, but it looked fabulous nonetheless.

I wore this to a friend's winter wedding in Newport, RI. I LOVED the fit. It made me feel tall and skinny, and the racer back was comfortable and flattering. It was dressy but in a "I didn't try to hard, but yes I am wearing a long formal dress" kind of way. You could easily dress this up or down. I decided to keep it simple with some longer earrings and my hair pulled back into a bun. Make sure to use fashion tape in the front to keep it from falling/slouching down too low. Overall I would certainly recommend this to a friend, and I plan on renting this again soon. The light material would be great for summer weddings as well, and the color makes it suitable for evening affairs. NOTE **** I AM 5'7" and I wore the REGULAR LENGTH and it was longer than I would have probably preferred. Unless you're super, super tall, I or around 5'8" and planning on wearing shoes 3 inches plus, I would not recommend going with the long length.

I rented this the night of the rehearsal dinner at a friend's wedding in Chicago. Very comfortable, and I was able to eat as much deep dish Chicago pizza as I wanted (and I washed it down with plenty of beer of course). Both casual and comfortable. Fit was wonderful. The neckline design was a little bit "larger" than I guess I expected in person, and the material of the dress was a little more casual than I felt like it was when pictured online... but I enjoyed it very much overall.

I rented this dress for a winter wedding in Chicago. Great purple color, the overlay material was fun, and the sheer sections were sexy. I LOVED the back. I received compliments all night from people, it was a big hit. My ONLY complaint was that when the dress arrived, it showed up looking a little rough around the hem line. I actually called RTR customer service, and they were very helpful. They did say that the dress did not really "hold up that well, with wear." It looked like the dress was a good quality dress, but with the delicate nature of the material in the sheer sections it was just prone to damage with extended wear/multiple rentals. I was slightly disappointed with the condition because the hem made it look worn, but I didn't have enough time for them to send something else. Ultimately, I ended up having to wear it anyway (honestly, it was insured and I told the girl over the phone I was going to do it before I did so I don't feel bad sharing this, but I cut the few centimeters of gross fallen hem off the top netting before heading to the wedding... I tried fashion tape to hold it up first, but that failed because it was too small in width to stay up and the netting material wasn't conducive to the Hollywood fashion tape hem.

Wore this to evening event of cocktails and dinner at the James Beard House in NYC. Perfect blend of elegance and simplicity, while still having a sophisticated, formal look. Fit well. Would rent again.

I loved everything about this! Super cute clutch and it went perfectly with my little black dress. Fit everything essential I needed to bring as well (phone, makeup touch up items, small wallet with card etc.). The ONLY comment I have in terms of slightly negative feedback, is that the inside lining pattern (lipstick pattern in bright colors... which ultimately does not matter at all really) seemed slightly juvenile and informal when compared to the overall look, material, and colors selected for the exterior. Like it should have been a lining for a cosmetic or toiletry bag, not for an evening clutch. The exterior makes it look like a great cocktail clutch for the evening and the inside lining is oddly casual?

I ordered this dress for an additional outfit, maybe for a dinner, during a vacation. I was excited to wear it out for a casual night but it just kind of fit odd. It just wasn't that flattering. Maybe if you were a tiny stick, because it would be clear that you weren't unshapely underneath the dress... but I felt like I was just kind of wearing a weirdly shaped dress and trying to cover myself up/hide. Some people suggested belting it, but the belt I brought with me looked odd, and it sat weirdly on the satin dress material. Overall it was casual in style and fit, somewhat bulky looking, but with fancier material which kind of made the overall look confusing. I just didn't seem to confidently pull it off.

Something a little different for a traditional black cocktail dress, with the sheer decorative top. I wore this to a wedding in Oklahoma with a little red lipstick and called it good.
