I wouldn't recommend this coat for someone with a longer torso, as I found it to be rather short. I'm 5'4" and it hit me just below my natural waist. The zipper was also pretty fussy.

This dress was extraordinarily comfortable. The fabric is sturdy, but it doesn't feel heavy or hot. I could have gotten away with the small, but I ended up wearing the medium for the extra room in the bust. Several other guests at the event remarked on how lovely this dress is.
