Loved everything about this coat. Sure, the sleeves were short, especially on me because I'm so tall but it was worth the trade-off. Get prepared for nonstop compliments while you're wearing this beauty.

This is the first Maje (Sandro) piece I've ever owned or rented that was a miss. Gave off 78 year old church lady vibes — not the Jackie O look I was hoping for. Really had no shape and sat oddly off my shoulders in the back. The picture would suggest it has some shape and narrows at the waist but I didn't find that to be the case :-/ The color and hardware are gorgeous but the material seems very thin.

I really wanted to love this coat. But it was giant on my frame. Even with layers, it just looked shapeless/zero form. I also expected it to be a heavier wool. I would not recommend this for a very cold day. Maybe this is on me and I needed to go down a size? (Though, never in my life have I been an 2/XS.) Or perhaps this is an unfair assessment from someone with zero curves? 😂 Straight, narrow, tall ladies: you've been warned 😛

Not a showstopper, but it fits my style and is definitely a top I would rent again. I paired it one night with a funky faux fur coat for a little karaoke action (the lack of sleeves came in handy in a very stuffy room). It paired well with high-waisted black jeans. Next time, I might try it with a high-waisted black skirt. I didn't find the top itchy. This arrived NWT, too :-)

It was fun to break the mold a bit during the holiday season with some more casual gatherings. It was cropped and a little short on me—which I expected (I’m tall!). It paired well with black jeans. It wasn’t itchy to me, BUT it was extremely warm, especially for someone who always runs cold. I definitely would not wear this on any day that exceeds 50 degrees.

I love this fun and funky coat—it’s been a great way to break up the winter blues (and all the black in most of my outfits). It pairs perfectly with a black sheath dress or black jeans. It’s definitely not leather—despite what the tag claims (ha)! I actually prefer that it isn’t, but it’s funny they advertise it that way, especially given the $1,500 price tag. I’m holding onto it a bit longer to mix things up from my usual black puffer!
