This dress is, as designed, an awesome dress. The pockets and fit are good. However, the dress that I received was so worn out as to be almost unwearable. The delicate lace had clearly been dry-cleaned way too many times (see second photo), so it looked ratty on the edges. There were several places on the sleeves where the lace was actually torn, and as I was sewing it back up could tell that it had already been repaired once. Very disappointed that RTR would keep sending out dresses in this condition.

I rented this dress in an 8R, and it didn't work for my shape. It was too tight in the thighs but the waist was too gaping (the cool straps weren't even touching my back), so going up a size wouldn't have helped. And the R was definitely too short, I was hoping it would work for 5'10" wearing flats, but definitely would have needed a long (which was not available). I wore my backup style to the event. Overall this dress seemed really cool and a nice fabric but you need to be more "straight" for it to work.

This dress was incredibly comfortable, as it barely touches you anywhere but the waist. I wore it for a "future" themed party as its shape gives it a "Jetsons" look, but still very classy. I am a 6 in the chest and waist but a 10 on the bottom, and the 6 fit perfectly as the dress flares out so much. I'm 5'10" and the length was good, a few inches above the knee. You can wear normal bra. Easy to wear, unique dress that I wish I could keep!

I got this as my backup dress. The 6 was too small for me. 8 may have also been too small. The main thing I noticed trying it on was that the neckline is very high in the front. The back buttons are maddening, even with boyfriend assistance they were difficult to manage. Maybe they would loosen up with use.

This was my first RTR experience, and started out kind of scary. It was immediately clear that the SL was too short for me. I put it on the LL and walked out of my room for feedback from the girls... crickets. It was just all weird and drapey, the drape was falling so low you could see the dress underneath. With some work with pins we got it looking presentable by pulling the drape up higher at the shoulders, and taking in the sides. I got out a needle and thread to sew how we had pinned it, and realized that the stitching holding the drape in place was coming out, which contributed to the strange effect. I fixed the missing stitches and used a brooch to hold in more of the drapes. I also had to sew up the zipper which also had some stitching coming out. In the end it was great for the 20's themed event, and easy to wear. At 5'10", the LL was the perfect length for me to wear flats. I wore the suggested spanx.
