The colors of this dress are gorgeous, the fit is so flattering…if it weren’t so expensive, I’d buy it in a heartbeat. Wore it to work, the opera, and a tv show taping - she’s versatile!

Very sweet dress; received a lot of compliments. The fabric was really nice and lightweight. Only annoyance was that the opening at the bottom hem was small - I couldn’t take my usual long strides, jump over puddles, etc.

Pretty color, but…
I rented this as a back-up for a spring wedding and ultimately didn’t end up wearing it. The color was gorgeous, but something about it read kind of “frumpy” on me. Maybe it was the lace, the length, or the ruching at the bust. I tried it on with a nude thong and a nude strapless bra and the sheerness didn’t bother me.

This was my backup style for a family wedding but it was unanimously the favorite amongst everyone I polled, and I ended up wearing it. As others have noted, the bust is tricky - the cut of the sweetheart neckline means you really can’t wear a strapless bra without it showing. If you are well-endowed, you’ll be busting out, but if you have a smaller chest, you won’t fill out the cups. I miraculously fell right in the sweet spot and this dress worked. I did use silicone cups just for a bit of coverage because I’m not accustomed to going braless.

Showstopping
This dress was stunning in person and so comfortable - there was great support at the bust m, but it was nice and giving at the waist. (I don’t have a particularly snatched waist so I didn’t mind that this was a bit formless.) I ultimately chose to wear my backup style because this was giving serious main character energy - not what I wanted to bring to a family wedding.

Tight and itchy
I wore this with high-waisted jeans. Be warned - there is absolutely no give on this shirt. It was more cropped on me than the other reviews pictured…maybe my chest is to blame? It was itchy and my hair got caught/tangled in the sequins several times.

I rented this for a dinner, but I could envision myself wearing it to a wedding in lieu of a cocktail dress. FYI, material is fairly thick. I’m glad I own a plain black unpadded strapless bra; this jumpsuit would slide down, but my bra wasn’t obvious when it did. (Padding would have made it more difficult to zip all the way up; I’m a 32C for reference.) Note that I ordered the S-long but I’m not sure the “long” was actually sent, as I couldn’t wear it with the high heels I had planned. (The only tag on my garment reads “S”.) I measured and the inseam is 33” - plenty long for most folks I’m sure, but tall gals should have a plan b pair of shoes in mind.

I loved the contrast and the buttons! The fit - longer and loose - was tricky for me, proportionally. I tried it with a black mini skirt that wasn’t quite mini enough. Flared or wide-leg jeans weren’t right. Ultimately I went with straight-leg 501s. If I hadn’t been at the office, I would have skipped the layer underneath…the v neck hit at just the right place to do so.

You have to be ready for LOTS of comments if you wear this. There's no way to be inconspicuous. I will say, I felt constricted - especially my neck - and was happy to take it off when the night was over. There's no give, so when in doubt, size up.

Retro but fashion-forward
This felt straight out of the 80s, like I should have worn my hair teased and in a side ponytail. I think it worked though. The long, thick nature of the fabric and the slim cut meant that it wasn't the easiest to walk around in, so minus a star for that.

I didn't end up wearing this because it barely contained my 32C bust in addition to being perilously short! There is no smocking/give and it's tight in the chest/back (with a zipper!), so definitely size up. Also, as other reviews mentioned, very tight arms holes.

Really unique print and cut; cute with high-rise jeans! Make sure you have an iron handy; the many ruffles needed to be smoothed out before I wore this top. This ran large except in the arm holes, so size up if you have muscular arms!

This brand makes such reliably beautiful, interesting dresses. I loved this one! It has pockets! Go down by at least one size...I'm usually a 4 or a 6, but the 2 was still large. The stock photo makes this dress look much shorter in the front than it actually is - it reached the tops of my knee caps. For that reason, if you have a bump, I think this could be a good dress for you.

I loved this dress - the material was lightweight but looked and felt luxe, and it was comfortable. The neckline had some give so it wasn't restrictive. The waist didn't have any elasticity but it was fairly loose - consider sizing down.

Probably my favorite rental top, ever. Great with high-rise jeans (it's cropped, even on me - and I'm really short-waisted). Was loose enough that I was able to pull it on over my head without having to unbutton it - which is a good thing, since those buttons looked tricky. Glad I sized up.
