Didn't wear to event
I usually wear a 14, sometimes a 12, with the main issue being my chest fitting into a 12, but this dress ran small as even the "bottom" was pretty tight. Unfortunately, 14 was not available due to the dress being phased out of inventory according to a RTR rep. Very disappointing as this was for my granddaughter's wedding in June -- I spent the rental fee early to make sure the dress would work, but now I must continue my search. I was also testing for timing of receiving the dress and I actually got it 2 days early, so I was impressed with RTR's timing. I have used RTR many times over the last 10 years but was not aware they no longer use USPS -- it used to be easy to find a mailbox to drop in for return. Now they ONLY use UPS and it was much more difficult to make the return because nearest UPS store is a 40 mile round trip.

Cute and would have worked had the dress fit and the earrings worked so I could go to the event. Plenty of room inside, not very expensive feeling or looking, but cute and different and probably would have gleaned a few comments.

I wore these with a navy sequined dress and bronze shoes and they were perfect!
Didn't need a necklace or any other jewelry with these statement earrings. Although they are large, they are not all that heavy, even for older earlobes! Very comfortable and I am picky about that. Dark blue matched the dress and the turquoise color was a great contrast. The goldish/bronze matched my shoes and purse. The design was perfect with it's Indian flare, as I live in AZ! I would rent these again in a heartbeat!

I wore this dress as emcee of a community holiday party.
I ordered the XL and L because I had lost 30 pounds since last ordering a similar dress (was a 16, now a 14) and was hoping to get into the large. I could have, but it would have been more uncomfortable (my chest is still un- proportionate), so I stuck with the XL. Was not fond of the ruching hiking up the side seams and the dress/lining kept creeping around my body -- at one point, the front v of the neck was over the middle of my left breast! Also, the sequins tore the lace tablecloth up and my stockings. Lots of ravelings hanging all over the dress, particularly the hemline (part of the hem was out too). The dress is not as short as pictured, more like top of the knee, but that was ok for an older woman like me. I did get lots of compliments, however after losing the weight and feeling skinnier in my new clothes, I felt fat in this dress -- maybe I needed a firmer undergarment in a smaller size than my old one that I wore. Dress looks black in darkness, but a beautiful blue in the lights. Loved the earrings I rented to go with it, but I would not rent this dress again.

Wore with a strapless and it was more than enough jewelry without wearing a necklace, although I added one for this pic on one night of a 3-night play production. Comfortable weight, didn't pull my earlobes down. Intricate bling!!!

Just about perfect!
A very forgiving, well made gown that looks ever so red carpet! I wore this 3 times in one weekend for a part I played (MC on the red carpet interviewing 'stars') in a play. I am 44D and thought I would not get the zipper past my mid-back (everything fit find till I got to stuffing all that into the top!), but with a little work......the length was a bit long because I only had on 3" heels and anything higher would have worked fine. Had to apply a little WD-40 to the zipper as it didn't work well to begin with, let alone having to stuff a keilbasa into a hot dog casing! The sleeves were a bit tight at the top, but not too uncomfortable. Not one sequin fell off, that's how well made it is. Such an easy way to look really good for any event!
