So small in the waist
I am usually a small on top and medium on bottom, not the waist on this was so small I couldn’t wear it. It fit, but I was at risk of popping the button. It’s getting 3 stars because the sleeve length is perfect and the double layer skirt was so special.

I am wearing it now with a soft dark gray sweater and a gray scarf and people have been complimenting me all day. Thinking about it buying it. That said, my stomach looks 4 months pregnant. Not great with a short top.

My bad, I didn’t realize the back was short. My bf laughed very hard that I was renting a hunting jacket with room for bullets on the chest pocket. So there you have it. Maybe you’ll be okay wearing it out of the house.

I wore this twice with jeans and loafers & it worked for me, but I DID wear a white tank underneath so it didn’t show my bellybutton. It has a funny pointed hem in front. Good classic white shirt if you like to rotate these in your wardrobe like I do.

It’s such a great fit, and the delicate fabric is soft like tissue. I really wanted to buy it but it’s just too expensive. I kept it for way too long and returned it for something new. It was a good staple for me for work and for date night or going out.

Short torso, long arms
Great knot, but the boxy shape felt a little bit off to me. The torso was just a little bit too short and the sleeves could have been rolled up twice. I wore it a couple times, but sent it back after one month.

Made for tall people
I rented this for everyday wear and may end up buying it. The fit is TTS except for the length which is made only for tall people. I'm 5'8" plus, and I'm good with wedge sandals. When I wear my Birks it ALMOST feels like it's dragging. It's thin denim. A lot of it - it's very full. The waist has a double button closure (one hidden) so it lays flat and doesn't pull. It is high waisted and looks great with a tucked in tank. The top is quite fitted before the first horizontal seam. Cute skirt.

Rented it for a special occasion and wore it evrywhere
This dress was such beautiful quality, pretty color and patterns, and breathable cotton so I wore it a lot this summer. Parties, work, conference, date, etc. I would have bought it but it's so unique, I just kept it for two months instead. That's the fun of RTR. Literally too many compliments to count from the random guy I passed at the bus stop to close friends. I'm usually a 6 in loose dresses but the 8 was perfect.

Flowers AND Skulls in the print
This dress was so small I couldn't wear it. I'm normally small top/medium bottom. I got small because the dress looked loose on the bottom. Unfortunately the waist is so small (elastic in the back) that it creased in the middle on me. The sleeves were also tight around my biceps . As I was debating whether to try wearing it once, I decided I didn't really like the print & that's when I noticed the skulls scattered among the flowers. Not what I expected. Also, fabric is thin, inexpensive poly.

It's a fancy muumuu but with a great print. The gentle puff sleeves are what elevates it to extra special. I have worn it to the office, a graduation party, a dinner party I hosted, etc. I wear it so much I ended up buying it.

Would be a great mother-of-the-bride dress...
First things first - there are sparkling gold threads sewn into the fabric in small vertical rectangles. I didn't expect this which made it a little bit too formal for the graduation event I attended. I wore it anyway, with a wrap, and still received compliments. It just wasn't exactly what I expected. It is a lovely, true fit, excellent quality, although a bit matronly.

Both large and small - go figure
I love these dresses on the models but they don't seem to work irl. I'm a pear shaped b-cup, small on top and medium on bottom. The bottom section of the empire waist fit really snug, but the top was gaping wide. Maybe if I was a c-cup I could have filled it out? But there was another problem and that was the straps which are placed really wide apart. They're also loose elastic so they don't fit snug on your shoulders. They fell off a few times in the 10 minutes I wore the dress.

Perfect cotton sundress for summer
Grateful the straps were wide enough to cover my bra straps. I like this look but at 50+ years old, I can't pull this look off without a bra. Reminds me of the cute sundresses I wore in my youth. Fun hot weather dress. As a pear shaped women, I sized for my top half & it worked.

My coworker called this an "iconic caftan"
I rented this to extend the post-covid summer of the mumu into fall. I'm a 6/8 on bottom and a 4 on top. I rented the 6/8 and it most definitely fits like an 8. It's meant to be loose and flowing so it doesn't really matter that it's roomy. The drop shoulders hit at my biceps & it was fine. The buttons in front add a little bit of flirty leg if you want. Note: the fabric is really thin. If it weren't black, I'd wear a slip. Definitely wouldn't wear it with bright red underwear though.

See that hook on the waistband? It's odd.
The recommended size was fine, but the fit was wrong. The pleat on the front skirt isn't sure where it wants to be and alternates between fitting just right and being too open. The real deal breaker, and the reason I'm returning it without wearing it, is the odd hook on the waistband. You can see it on the photos. When it arrives, it just looks like the skort doesn't fit and it's pulling open, revealing the hook. It's not a sophisticated enough item of clothing to pull off a deconstructed waist.

You'll love it, your boyfriend will hate it
This is just a beautiful refined dress that looks fantastic with some nice shoes (dug some out of my closet for the first time in a year) and a chunky necklace. The cut on the sleeves is very sophisticated - the best part of the dress, really. I wore it to book club and tea with the girls. The three different types of dotted fabric keep it from being too cute.

Compliments everywhere I went
This was just a so-so looking dress to me, but I was looking for loose flowing dresses for summer so I thought I'd try it. To my surprise, I received compliments on it wherever I went. The cut on this dress is beautiful. Very refined for such a flowing dress. The fabric is a thicker polyester so it's not for extreme hot sun days.

And this is saying something because I wear a lot of Marimekko and big blousy clothing. The fit? This was some straight up Lucille Ball in a potato sack on me.

Summer linen heaven
I wore this for a graduation event in the hot sun and styled it with a big sun hat. It was perfect. I also wore it for a backyard happy hour with friends. I tried to wear the collar as it was styled on the model but it was really really tight. That's okay, because it looks fantastic open at the neck and adds some texture if that makes sense.

Beautiful fabric, loose fitting casual dress
This was the perfect dress for my not-quite-ready return to normal clothing in the pandemic. I wore it to a couple parties and around town for errands. It has a surprisingly low front which was fine for me, but I sized down one. You should too. This dress has a lot of fabric and the arms are very blousy. Do yourself a favour and get one size down. Also, if you don't have a deep down earth mother appreciation, this dress isn't for you.

Wasn't sure it it was appropriate for work but I had a meeting with the head of HR the day I wore this & she stopped mid-sentence to say "I just have to tell you I love your dress." Also, I'm 49 and don't normally have a lot of random men smiling at me in public, but it happened at the UPS store and the grocery store. Was it my confidence? I wore this with flesh colored platform sandals. The only problem is that it's SUCH a standout dress, I can't wear it to work again soon.

I've worn this to the office a few times. It's a light sweater fabric that's good for a summer office. Be aware the armholes gape so wear a tank underneath. I've worn it with a black skirt, conservative plaid pants, and black slacks. Works with everything. Soft fabric, doesn't itch.

Rented for my birthday party, wore two more times.
This dress is voluminous, but unlined so it's not very heavy. I loved it and would buy it in a heartbeat, but that would defeat the point of renting for me. When I told my friends it was a rental, they encouraged me to just buy it because it was so perfect. Puffy in a fabulous way, but I did wear it to work on casual Friday which was also my birthday. Then I wore it for my birthday party and AGAIN for an art opening dinner event. Each time with different necklaces that made it more or less formal. I sized down to my top half size which is a full size smaller than my pear shaped bottom half. The neckline is a bit snug, and I have a thin neck, so be aware when selecting the size. I'm also tall but it would probably look a bit more tent like on anyone below 5'7".

I love this and would buy it if it weren't so expensive. Fits perfectly true to size on top and has a little extra room for those of us who are a full size bigger on bottom. Nice with flats or heels and I've worn it several times already. May dry clean it and keep it even longer.

ALMOST looks like maternity so wear with tight bottoms.
Love the pink/white/gray stripes. Lots of volume but tight cute capped sleeves make it feminine. I wore it untucked with tight pants and a pencil skirt & it comfortable covered my bottom. IMO it's too much fabric to tuck in.
