Unwearable
Unfortunately, the dress was too short for me and not flattering at all due to the cut of the bustline and high waist. I ended up wearing another black dress I had in my closet.

Pretty dress, runs large, looks a bit worn
I rented two dresses for a formal work gala and didn't end up wearing this one because it was a bit too sexy, the lace looked old/worn, and it was too baggy. It's a very pretty dress -- if you want to try it I'd recommend ordering a size down. And I always order a back up just in case!

A great classic, elegant dress.
I wore this to a work "gala" -- it was the perfect miss of style, class, femininity and sophistication. I wore it with a chunky JCrew crystal bracelet and C Wonder earing and received lots of compliments.

I loved the fabric, fit and feel of this dress! I wore it with flats but still wish it were available in an extra-long -- another 2 inches would have been perfect.

Thin, thin, thin!
I was dissapointed in how thin the fabric was -- perhaps from too many washes and wears. The dress was a lovely length and drape, but you could see right through it! I didn't end up wearing it, but I did love the other dress I rented for the occassion.

I always rent two dresses from RTR. I tried this on and was dissapointed --- the top ruffle is bib-like, and the bottom hangs at an awkward length -- just not at all flattering on me.

Classy and feminine
I was very happy with this dress. I wore it to a work "gala" and felt sophisticated and beautiful. I don't know if it's really fair to say that it runs small, but I'm pear shaped so it was a bit snug on the bottom for me.
