I rented this for an outdoor wedding. Since it would be outdoors, I was hoping to wear flats, so I rented the 4R. In case that would be too short to wear flats with, I also rented the 4L (and thought I could wear wedge heels, if I HAD to). I'm 5'10" and the 4R hit below my ankle around the top of my foot. I might have liked it a little longer, but it was more comfortable to wear flats and be able to dance all night than wear the Long and worry about tripping or my feet hurting in really high heels all night. The fabric was great for a hot day and it really stood out in the crowd. As others stated, the colors in the dress are great. The waist fits as it should, but the bust is large. I fixed that problem by wearing the "add-two-cup-sizes" bra from VS and converted it to a criss-cross back, since another reviewer said she had problems keeping her straps covered all night. That filled out the bust of the dress without issue, but it still opened, so I just safety pinned the inside and the dress was fine. If I would have been attending an indoor event, I would have worn heels with the Long, since it it was shorter than I liked. Note the Regular runs 58" from the shoulder! Also, this would be good as an early maternity dress, since the bottom is so full. But BEWARE! If you are tall and always have to lean forward or slouch to take photos with others this is NOT a good sloucher's dress to be photographed in! You will end up with a pregnancy pooch in the front in all your photos (which I found out AFTER seeing the one above). I looked really boxy in all the photos, but in person, it looked much better. The mystery bling they sent was the Nicole Miller Accessories Star Light Star Bright bracelet. It looked fantastic with the dress, but be sure you have other gold-tone accessories! I had silver/platinum evening sandals, so I didn't end up wearing it because of the gold-tone. I am including a pic in the review anyway so you can see them together. It was a great look!

I got this as my "mystery bling" item. The only problem was that it was gold tone, while my shoes were silver, so I couldn't wear it. That was a waste of money, but should they ever add the option of choosing a yellow/gold tone vs. a silver/white gold tone for the mystery bling, that would make a HUGE improvement to resolve matters like this. As for the bracelet itself, it's beautiful, has a lot of sparkle, and is great for small wrists. Were I wearing something with gold, I would definitely consider renting it again.

The stylist surprise was something that I added to my order on a whim. The price was right so I figured why not. The downside is that they don't really ask for enough info when going with a "stylist surprise." I understand you're rolling the dice as to what they have in stock, but it would be nice, when you choose this, if they asked if you have pierced ears (or not), or what your shoe color is going to be, etc. My problem was that my surprise was a gold bracelet, but my shoes were silver, so I didn't even wear it since I hate the silver/gold mish-mash combo in a single outfit. A waste of money on that front -- but in the future, if I could add a note that said "wearing silver shoes with this dress" -- then I would have taken any silver tone necklace/bracelet/earrings/purse/etc. I hope that makes sense and something they consider adding to this feature in the future. Heck, even JUST being able to choose between a yellow/gold tone vs. a silver/white gold tone would be a HUGE improvement! As for the item itself, I have small wrists and it was beautiful. Just the wrong color to match my shoes.

I rented this to wear with the Helmut Lang Oasis Dress, which was a medium grey color. They matched perfectly and were fantastic for that off the shoulder neckline. The earrings are big but they are not heavy. Lots of sparkle and very unique. I'd love to own them.

I ordered the S and P -- and very glad I got the back-up size. The Small fit okay (if this dress were cut any differently) but it looks WAY better when it is more fitted (instead of slightly loose). Even though I don't like things too tight, this dress helped to hide any 'pooch' below your belly button and was really attractive on. It's also better for it to be tight so the shoulder fits the way it's shown in the picture. If it's tight, it will hug your shoulders and stay taught. On the larger size, it just flopped around and you didn't get that elegant drape. I definitely recommend renting the earrings with it. They topped it off perfectly and this dress went from day, to dinner, to night amazingly well. LOVED it (and more importantly -- so did my husband).

I ordered the 4 and 6, expecting to wear the 6, but unfortunately the dress arrived with a button missing on the right arm of that size. So, of course, I couldn't wear that and tried on the 4. The body of the size 4 dress fit well (a little better than the 6, actually, as this looks good fitted), but the arms were SO TIGHT it was actually very uncomfortable to bend them at all. I note that because I don't have large/muscular arms. If you have large upper arms and are thinking of renting this to hide your arms and show off your legs -- find another dress! Big arms would have the skin show/push out around the buttons and looked like a tied-up ham or something. It was VERY tight on my 'average/straight' arms...and I wore this dress for 12 hours (all day before an evening event, then on the plane home). I thankfully had other clothes in my carry-on and finally had to change during a layover. I couldn't take it anymore. The length of the dress wasn't TOO short (I'm 5'10"), but I wore stockings (highly recommend). If I had bare legs, I would have been concerned that it was too short and everything was just 'hanging out'. Overall, cute dress. Wish the size 6 had fit. It was a great day-to-evening dress, but the diameter on the arm sizing needs to be looked in to. Even with that open area, the fabric didn't stretch enough to make them comfortable.
