I usually wear a 4 but I had to size up with this one. I ended up wearing the 6. As others have mentioned, the band around the rib cage was tiny! I was able to zip it up on 4 but there was no way I could wear that dress all night. I could barely breathe! The 6 was still snug around the rib cage and the top ended up fitting a bit looser than I would have wanted, but I think it still looked fine. I'm 5'4" and I ordered the R length. I wore 4 inch heels and the dress was still probably about an inch too long for me. I didn't find it to be a problem though. The color is beautiful and the silk feels luxurious. This one's a winner, but size up unless you have a tiny rib cage.

I LOVED this dress! It is form fitting but not tight and uncomfortable at all. It has a bit of stretch. This is definitely one that you shouldn't wear if you're not fond of attention. It will certainly hug all of your curves. I wish I owned this dress.

This wasn't one of my favorites, unfortunately. I wore a size 4 but it was a little too big on me. I felt it made me look a little boxy. People liked it though and I did receive compliments. It's a fun dress to wear, though it's not a dress that I loved. I'd still recommend it though if you're looking for something comfortable and cute.

I really liked this dress. The color is so beautiful, and though it's fitted, it had enough stretch to make it feel quite comfortable. It was easy to wear for a pear shape which is a plus, too. I sometimes have trouble with tops of dresses fitting perfectly and then having the bottoms too tight. This was just right though. I would definitely wear this again!

This dress is really beautiful. You'll definitely stand out in it! I found it tough to fit for my body type (pear) though. The 4 fit really well on top but was too tight on the bottom. The 6 fit well on the bottom but was huge on top. I ended up wearing the 6. I was going to use fashion tape to secure the top but I forgot it at home and I didn't have time to buy any before going out. I ended up tugging on the dress all night to try to keep from exposing my bra. I think it would have been okay with fashion tape though. I'd still recommend.

This dress is so comfortable as the lining is really soft and there is some stretch to it. I loved the little surprise in the back as well. It added a touch of sexy to this otherwise cute dress. Overall I would rent this again for sure! I found it to be true to size.

I ordered this dress in a small for NYE. Unfortunately, there was no medium available as a back up size. I think I might have ended up wearing the medium if available. I wore this dress, but as someone else notes, it's so fitted that it seemed to accentuate my flaws, even with spanx underneath. I loved it anyway and others seemed to think I looked fine but I was a little self conscious through the night. The color is beautiful and the dress is well made. I would recommend one size up.

I liked this dress. It was pretty and sparkly. It wasn't my favorite rental. I've rented a lot of dresses and I'd rank this one near the bottom. For me the fit wasn't the best. I ended up wearing the 4 and it was pretty loose around the middle. Also, as other reviewers noted it was longer than I would have wanted. And, all night long I was shedding gold foil. It got all over my husband's black jacket and all over the velvet couch I sat on at dinner. On the bright side, I wore this to a nice dinner in Vegas and it was comfortable because it wasn't too tight.

I loved this dress. The color was appropriate for a summer wedding, the fit was flattering and the length pefect for a classy setting. As other reviewers have noted the shoulder straps were a little big and they slid off occassionaly, but it wasn't a big deal. Spanx and a strapless bra are essential in this dress.Overall highly recommend!

I loved this dress! It's one of my favorite rentals ever. I usually wear a size 4 and the medium fit perfectly. I tried on the large just to see how it fit and the bottom half of the dress actually fit fine, but the top was huge. This is not surprising, given my pear shape. The dress is stretchy with thick, forgiving fabric. It's comfortable enough to sit down and have a nice dinner in. I did have to shorten my stride when walking though as the dress is tight all around, but it was no big deal. I got so many compliments on this dress. It was a huge hit. I wish I could keep it!

The fabric on this dress is lovely, very soft and pretty. I love the beading as well. I ordered the small in this dress and it was still a little large on top. I had to wear a cardigan over it because the arm holes were a bit too low. I wore tights under this dress and thank goodness, because it was very windy and the skirt has a tendency to fly above your waist with strong gusts of wind. The skirt was a bit short for me, but it was no big deal with tights on. I also wore brown boots to further dress down the outfit. Overall a nice dress but slightly on the bigger side.

I'm so happy to have read the reviews of others because this dress does run large. I went ahead and ordered one size down. I typically wear a 4 in Shoshanna, but this time the 2 fit perfectly. The 4 was too big all around. I loved this dress! It's beautiful and comfortable. I highly recommend it!

I typically wear a size 4 but the 2 fit me best. I rented this for dinner at a fancy restaurant. I wanted something classy and fun. This definitely fit the bill. I loved the bright color which added some whimsy to a more conservative silhouette. The fit wasn't perfect as the bottom was a little snug and the top a bit big. I had to apply some double stick tape on top so as not to expose my bra, but it was no big deal.I'm sure this dress would work better on someone with a larger chest. I would certainly recommend this dress though. I loved it.

This is one of my favorite rentals. The color is vibrant and the fabric is subtly textured. I usually wear a 4 in Shoshanna and the 4 fit perfectly. The dress overall was a little more fitted than on the model, but I liked that. Very comfortable and flattering. I wish I owned it!

I ordered a size small because I usually wear a size 4, but the small was a bit too big. It still worked for me, but I would've liked the dress to be a bit more fitted. The color is brighter in person, which I loved. Overall it was a nice rental. I was happy with it, but I should have ordered the size P instead of the S.

I rented this dress for a summer wedding. I loved the print and the fabric is beautiful. The top is especially well made. I typically wear a 4 and ended up wearing the 4 as the 6 was too big overall but especially in the chest area. My only complaint is that the lining in the skirt was too tight. The skirt itself fit just fine though. The tight lining caused a little bit of a poufy look in the stomach area, but it wasn't awful. Overall I was happy with the dress, but if I owned it I might cut some slits in the lining.

When I saw this dress on the model I wondered how it stayed closed in the chest area. I thought maybe there was a hidden snap or something. Nope. As the reviewer before mentioned, this dress completely hangs open in the front exposing your bra. I had to run to the store for a last minute double sided tape purchase. Once taped up the dress looked very pretty and was comfortable, too.

This is a beautiful dress. It certainly looks expensive. It wasn't as white as I would have imagined. It appeared to be a very soft linen color. For me the metallic bits looked silver. As a pear, this dress was tough to fit. The 4 fit perfectly on top but the bottom was a little snug. The 6 fit perfectly on the bottom but was huge on the top. I ended up wearing the 4. The fabric is a bit stretchy which is great for pear shapes. I received lots of compliments and was sad to have to return this dress.

This dress is STUNNING in person. I was so sad that I wasn't able to wear it. I was only able to order one size and it was way too small. Definitely order a size up...maybe even two sizes up if you're a bit curvier. One other thing to note is that the straps are long. They were too long for me. If I bought this dress I would have to get them adjusted by a tailor. Maybe that was just a problem for me because I have a shorter torso.
