These worked perfectly under a formal gown. An added bonus is that they provided shape and warmth.
Worn in the winter for a gala and they shaped my frame beautifully. You can't even tell you're wearing them.

I wore this to a gala for our hospital and received compliments all night from strangers.
The fit was true to size as I normally wear size 2 in dresses. I'm 5'6'' and wore a 3 1/2" heel with this dress and the 2L worked perfectly. The boning of the gown is substantial enough that I didn't even need a bra. So on top of looking fabulous all night, I couldn't have been more comfortable.
