I rented this dress for a black tie event and ordered the 6R and 8R. I loved the dress and the stretchy fabric- it was super comfortable. However, I'm 5' 7" and I wore 3 1/2" heels and the 6R was too long. The lining of the dress kept catching on my heels and I had to lift the dress to walk. It has a bit of a train in the back so people at the crowded event kept stepping on my train all night. I would recommend the regular if you are 5'8" wearing 3-4" heels. You'd have to be quite tall to order the tall length. If you're under 5'6"- order hem tape! The dress has a flattering fit and goes well with silver or gold. Has a nice sheen to it. In hindsight, I should've ordered the 4R and 6R as I think the dress runs a little large and may have liked the 4R better. I also ordered the Lady Liberty gown (similar color and style) as a back up in the 6R and it did not fit well- too small and stiff. This was much more comfortable and a better fit for a C cup or larger. Overall, a classy dress that fits easily but runs a little large and definitely long.

I ordered this dress as my primary dress and ended up wearing the back up I ordered. I would definitely recommend ordering a back up if you want to try this dress. The back is stunning and a fabulous fit, but the reason I didn't wear it was because the top fit funny. I am a 34C and 5'7" athletic and proportionate and I could barely zip up the side in the MR. The vertical line up to the shoulder did not lay straight and I have plenty of torso length. I recommend to a smaller busted person with a longer torso. As far as length, the front is shorter so your shoes show, and the back has a bit of a train. Be aware there is a strangely placed seam right in front, slightly hidden by other folds, but definitely noticeable. The fabric itself is quite luxurious- very pretty and soft. I really wish this would've fit, but it was oddly tight across the chest and did not lay well in the front.

This was my first time renting at RTR and it was a terrific experience. I scoured through all the dresses and settled on this one for a formal party in Dec. I wanted something with some sparkle and a figure-flattering shape. This one was perfect and I can see why so many other people rated it so high. I received compliments all night long on the dress. I ordered the 6R and the 8R because I didn't want anything too tight. The 6 fit so well I didn't even try on the 8. I had 4 in heels an the length was perfect. Great experience RTR- I'm already shopping for my next event!
