The scuba like material is heavy. The design is very colorful and interesting. I really wanted this dress to work. but it didn't. I have a true JLo bum, and the dress looked a little "too much" for a wedding. Since I am really small chested and couldn't wear a padded bra with the dress, I looked very flat (even with adhesive cups). I looked "all bum". It might have been a great dress to wear out to a night club but not appropriate for a wedding. If you have any type of belly, this dress will expose it. If you have any body parts that are "big" this dress will magnify it. Sometimes that can be a hot dress to wear, just not on someone's wedding day.

I am a size 8 with a pretty big bum and hips. I never thought I could wear a Herve Leger but this actually fit very well. I didn't wear the dress (I ordered this as a back up). If you are looking for a fun, sexy dress, this is a great dress. I wished I had enough money to own it. It would work for a lot of occasions.
