This dress is absolutely beautiful. The fabric is on the thicker side and high quality. The flower details are gorgeous. The top fit perfectly. But unfortunately I have a very long torso and the waist was about 6 inches too high for me. So what should have been the hips were at my waist and it looked awful. If you have a normal to short torso, don’t hesitate to rent this and I am jealous!

If you have broad shoulders, a larger than average ribcage, athletic upper body and/or big bust, definitely size up a lot. I am usually a 4 or 6 in dresses with broad shoulders / muscular / 34B. I would normally order a small but went for the medium based on other reviews, and the torso was still way too small around...I could barely zip it up all the way and definitely couldn't move or breathe. Didn't wear, unfortunately, as it's really pretty and fun.

This dress is gorgeous, super comfortable, and very well made. It held up beautifully over a 10 hour photos/wedding/after party extravaganza. I thought the 6 would be the right size for me based on others' reviews, and it was. I am a 34B-, all rib cage, back and pecs, no boobs. I barely filled out the bust with my NuBra on, but the bodice fit well otherwise. I had more room than I'm used to in the waist, but I was happy to have it after a big meal and hours of dancing. I think the 4 would have been way too small in the pecs, though the rest of it might have fit me a tiny bit better, so it would have been a no go. (I couldn't decide between sizing up or down for my backup...I went with the 8 and didn't even take it out of the bag.) Wear this dress, you will not regret it!

I never would have thought this dress would fit me, as sheath styles usually do not work with my super long torso. But I tried it on at the Soho showroom, and it was an obvious winner. I normally wear a size 6 or 8 dress due to my ribcage and shoulders, but the 40 fit like a glove. It has some stretch to it, so despite feeling a little snug at first, it ended up being insanely comfortable for a 10+ hour event. I was a little worried when the dress arrived...without a hook & eye closure, the zipper didn't want to stay up. I put a safety pin bar from inside underneath the zipper and had no issues. I really wish I could own this dress. I would wear it again and again!
