The pattern really makes the hips look blocky. The color is fun. It fit ok -- not my favorite however. I chose a different dress. This was the backup. Even though I read the reviews that said it wasn't lined, that still somehow surprised me. The lack of lining made it feel a bit cheap. Glad I saw it up close, though.

I love this designer! Nicely tailored. Dress was fitted but not plastered on! A little small in the chest. Roomier in the waist and hips. I sat for a long time and it stretched out a bit in the seat but not enough to be a problem. Many compliments! Photographed well.

It was a little smaller in the bust. Didn't wear a bra with it. Didn't need to. The rest of the dress was perfect. I did wear Spanx just to make sure it was nice and smooth. Perfect for the afternoon reception I was attending. The 6 would have worked as well but the 4 felt like it was made for me. Lots of seams in the pattern so it hugs the whole body! Go up a size if you are a little shy.
