The dress fit well and was rather comfortable, im 5'7 130lb. I could have worn the smaller size but my arms fit a little tight in the size small so I ended up wearing the medium that was a little more spacious but still looked great! Great dress for a mellow activity night like a banquet or awards ceremony or special date night dinner of sorts. Not one for going out on the town or where you'd want to raise your hands to dance alot. The reason for 4 stars was my purse zipper got caught on the dress a few times so i had to carry it away from my body or set it down for the night. Unfortunatly still, at the end of the night my husband carried me accross the street to releive my feet from my heels to the limo where pple were waiting for us and we got stuck, my hip to his chest on his vest button. The limo driver tried to untangle us but the way we were stuck at the edge of the street the limo driver ended up needing to rip the dress free to avoid us getting hit by traffic. Felt bad returning such a nice dress back in that condition, hoping it can be repaired by a seamstress.

I followed what the other reviews said about getting a size smaller for a second size but ended up wearing a size 4 (my usual size) anyway. I wore it with no bra but I probably could have used some tape for when it got a little chilly in the banquet hall. the inside was not scratchy so i got away with it, the arms were slightly scratchy but I barely noticed being in it for about 8 hours. I wore 4 inch heals and the whole toe was showing when I walked but it still looked nice and was a good length since I'm already 5'7". I would recommend this dress.

I'm 5'7 135lbs and usually a size 4 dress. I wore a size 4 and it fit perfectly as I expected a size 4 to fit. I can see how the torso could be a bit long for petite ladies but this one fit me almost perfect. I wore it with a chevron fringe jacket so i didn't pay much attention to the small amount of bunching it may have done while under my jacket. I loved the back detail but didn't want to sit on it since I thought it might crimp what ever material was keeping the material loosely curved in the back. Fun for dancing as it spins all the way out, this is a second reason to wear shorty panties. I did also notice the material was somewhat worn on the bottom half of the dress but if it's past dusk or you'r not right on it you can hardly tell. Great dress, would rent it again, sorta want one for myself!
