I usually wear a 6. After reading previous reviews I ordered a 4 and a 6 (as back-up) because I'm usually leery in ordering too small. That was a mistake! I could have easily fit a 2, or smaller. This dress was really big and unfortunately I couldn't make it work. The dress was pretty - great color, thick fabric. It poofs out a bit at the hips, so it's more formal than casual. Because the material is so thick, I wouldn't have picked it off a shelf. It almost reminded me of a bridesmaid material.

I have a short torso and I felt like I was pulling it down a lot because it would bunch up at the waste. The dress was true to size and hides any tummy issues because it poofs out at the waste. I felt it was conservative enough for a family wedding, but still a fun party dress. I was able to wear a regular bra which was a major plus! I accessorized it with the Slate & Willow "Take the Throne" Necklace and loved the combination! The dark navy color matches a men's navy suit and probably a black suit (it has black accents), and I wore black heels.
